MUST READ!!! DO NOT SKIP THIS!!!
""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""
This is not the beginning of the story, but I'd like to tell you a little something about it. I'm obviously not great at writing a little intro (don't know what to call it) to the story so if you're reading this, thank you! So as the little blurb said, this is about Braelynn, who is having troubles with being left behind by her best friend Bellamy. Just to say, this isn't going to be any little story about a girl who misses her guy friend and at the end of the story just magically gets back to being friends with him. Because that's not how life works. It doesn't give you an easy pass to get through it, and it's certainly isn't as easy as what some stories make it out to be. This is based off of a personal experience though the names and some of the plot or details and information is different from my actual experience. And believe me, I am not looking for any sympathy. I am just simply trying to put a story out there that talks about someone seriously struggling with internal stress. Anxiety mixed with years of pain and insecurity and let down doesn't leave you all happy and joyful. You get hurt, and as strange as it sounds, it's true that it's as easy as having one person who helps you through it to actually, get through it. Even if they don't know how much their helping you. And in this case, Bellamy unknowingly helps Braelynn from being even more stressed and even sad. But after that school year, he had became popular and he never said another word to Braelynn. And as much as he had helped her, she felt double the hurt that he relived from her when he left her. And now she wasn't just sad, that's too weak of a word. Now she was struggling with unbelievably intense anxiety and a small hint of depression that she went in and out of constantly. And not only did Bellamy not realize how much he had helped her, he hadn't realized how much he had hurt her. And sometimes it was even at the point where she didn't feel like she existed because he didn't seem to care how close they had been and now he could just pass her without even glancing towards her.So that's basically everything that Braelynn is facing at the beginning of the story, and it's not exactly written like a story. The chapters are letters that Braelynn writes to Bellamy, each chapter being another letter. But she never gives them to him. How is she supposed to do that when she cant even look him in the eye for more than two seconds?
...
The first letter will be published as soon as 15 people read this message. Please comment and tell me anything that you think I can correct or that would help me in this process. I've never written an entire story, mostly just given up, so anything helps. Even a comment saying 'hi' that let's me know you've read this would actually be pretty great. Thank you!!
