Also special thanks to @TinyLion88 for helping me edit this and also iamkeytistar because she's left so many positive comments on my story and her stories are just amazing! Without further ado I give you chapter 5.
A week passed quickly, stuck in the house, kept away from the world till needed as leverage. I still was having problems coming to terms with my situation but I kept quiet and didn't cause trouble. I was under constant watch by either Taehyung or Jungkook, I have yet to decided which is worse. Taehyung was hard to deal with because he's very silly and always trying to distract me, I find myself smiling and laughing at the things he does which only makes him do it more. It's getting harder and harder for me to dislike him, which isn't good.
My problem with Jungkook is he's almost always silent, only addressing me when it's necessary leaving space for awkward one sided conversations when I try to get him to talk to me, and long drawn out silences. I can tell he's probably wanting to do something other than watch some girl around the clock but in my defense i'd like to be other places too, the least he could do is be a little kinder. I haven't even tried escaping.
It's raining today, I'm sitting on a blue velvety couch in the sun room with the piano, staring out the large windows. All I see is forest going on for what seems like forever, it makes me feel even more helpless. The rain soaks everything in sight making the windows slightly fogged, and I just sit there not saying a word for who knows how long. Jungkook is in the room with me, standing in the doorway watching me with an impassive expression I've grown used to in the last week.
I get up and walk to the kitchen in the next room, deciding to fix lunch, Junkook follows a few steps behind, at least he gives me space and isn't always on top of my heels. I pull out a skillet, bread, cheese and butter and place them on the plate, thankful they have the things I need since I don't know how to cook Korean food. While the skillet heats up I assemble a sandwich and place it in the skillet with butter, It sizzles the second it hits the pan and my stomach growls.
"Would you like a sandwich Jungkook?" I ask pointing to mine cooking in the skillet. He eyes it seeming somewhat curious through his masked emotions and slowly nods. I smile and assemble another sandwich while flipping mine in the pan to cook the other side, then grab another plate for jungkooks sandwich.
Once I'm satisfied the first is cooked I put it onto the empty plate and place the uncooked one in the skillet, and butter it. I wait a minute making sure it's crispy and then flip it and turn to Jungkook, who's eyeing the cooking sandwich hungrily.
"Would you get out two glasses and pour us something to drink?" I ask and he nods going into the cabinets and pulls out two glasses. I return to my cooking and make sure the sandwich has cooked thoroughly before placing it on a plate, and go back into the sun room placing the food on the coffee table.
