"Sad Reality"

Chapter 1

Year 2020
                          Xedler POV

Today's a good day to stroll around the city as I look upon the view but I don't wanna waste my time here having fun. I am eager to finish this business so that I can go back home as soon as possible, and start to do loads of work.

"We just landed here in the Philippines a while ago and I'm thinking of the work I've left. Seriously Self?!" My thoughts wander.

At the moment, I walk inside at this noisy Columbian Cuisine Restaurant. I look around to see my friends around the corner but they're not. I chose a table of four that is just near but not far away from the front door.

I was busy checking my phone when I saw a woman who just walked in and goes straight to the office of the restaurant, I guess. She's so weird, I wanna laugh at her appearance and all but I don't wanna think about that. Instead, I glance at the clock and calm myself.

Actually no, I'm getting really  frustrated! Who in the world could make me wait for fucking —-

"Xedler!?" a voice called out.

I stand and look for the hella who shouted my name that very loud.

And F*ck. I am awestruck!

Chase and Zach which are my friends are in the front door holding a big size tarpaulin with a "Welcome to the Philippines, Xed!!" and my picture printed on it.

The fuck is that! I'm not wrong when I told you guys, they.  are. Crazy.

"Hey!What's up man?!" Chase said as they control their laugh seeing my frustration at my face as they approach me.

"What the fuck is that man?" I asked them frustratedly as we took our sit.

"I told — you man, he'll — be like that!" Zach hardly said while laughing.

I smirk at him.

"It's our welcome banner for you, at least appreciate our effort!" Chase said and laughed hard after.

After their laughing session, we ordered our lunch and talked about business. Well, it runs in our friendship live, I guess.

As I stare at them, I think It's really good to see them again after a long time in a different place. I know viber, snapchat and messenger call are just there but it hits different when we're together in person.

The Cutie arrogant Spanish-American Chase Manuel Hernández is the CEO of his own Industry Business which is the Hernández Manufacturing and Construction Co.

Zachary Clark, a playboy, and friendly Filipino-American is also the CEO of the Automobiles & Car Garage Company named the Zach Garage & Motors Co.

And me, I also created my own name in the business world with my own Food and Hotel Chain which is the Xed & Co. different from our family business that I also handle.

I want one of my hotels in this country and I plan it to be one of the largest and most luxurious one. I don't know why I chose Philippines but I just feel like it and also, to visit our family's first business branch.

And this project of mine will be talked about in the damn business meeting at my family business company which is the Lights Co. that handles electronics and mechanically inclined businesses. There will be probably no problem if I use my family's business regarding my business right?

"— Let's go." Chase snap at me.

"Eh? What? Yeah, Let's go." I asked.

"You're zoning out bro." Zach told me.
