Chapter 1 - What Do You Want To Do?

Here it goes... (Y/N) sighed shakily, and clasped her hands together as if she were praying, but more of a coping mechanism to not feel so nervous about.

"Hanako san. . ."

Hanako looked at her curiously, his smirk falter as his eyes are open with interest.

"My wish is for you to help me decide on my future. Or my dream."

Silence continues to fill up the entire room. In fact, how many times does it have to be silent every time she speaks. Hanako nervously scratched his forehead with his index finger, "Isn't that kind of impossible to wish for?...". (Y/N) blinked at him a few times. "What do you mean? All you have to do is help me decide on what to do once I graduate outta here!" She said. Although she knew this would happen at some point, after all this is HER future. She can't just wish it to make it easier for her to decide.

"Well, wishing on helping you decide the future is kind of your choice to make. It isn't really a clear wish to make, especially when it comes to deciding." Hanako explained. Knew it. I guess it's impossible for me to decide then... There's no hope in moving on to the future if I can't think of anything to do in my life... She thought, frowning as she looked down. She was about to speak but Hanako beat her to it. "But-" He started, "- I COULD help you by suggesting in trying new things that you haven't done yet!". (Y/N) eyes widened at the suggestion, looking up with a new hope glimmering in her eyes, R-Really?! Huh! I guess there's hope after all!. "Thank you so much, Hanako-san!" She said and bowed. Hanako sweat dropped, "H-Hey now! You don't have to be so formal!". (Y/N) laughed her embarrassment away.

"But with a price" Hanako continued. (Y/N) smiled at him knowingly, nodding. "Hit it! As long as you help me with my own wish" She said, which Hanako responded with a look of slight amusement. He'll admit, it was a first for him to accept a wish from an indecisive student, especially on a life that she can figure out on her own. He can see she wasn't trying to mask any disappointment that there was a price for a wish, she genuinely accepted the choice. So aspiring... He thought. "Alright then! I'll tell you once I fulfilled your wish. But for now... What are the things you have done and what are you interested in doing for now?" Hanako asked.

"Well..."

The cooking club's door is now opened by (Y/N) as she walked in. "Ohhhhh, so you're interested in cooking?" Hanako said, observing the members of this specific club. "Un!" (Y/N) nodded her head, "My second step brother suggested that I should try cooking for once, so I decided to join and check it out". Hanako hummed at her explanation, "If that's the case, try cooking something for someone".
