I have thought about leaving, time and time again,
To a place where not one hurtful word has ever been said,
Where time flies but beauty doesn't fade,
Where I am your one and only and you're my saving grace.
They say how pitiful it is to be me and you.
That it's foolish to yearn and to cry for something new.
A world full of hatred, a world full of fools.
We know it's not wrong to seek a place where no one's blue.
But we are only a child, and this is just a dream.
What we have always wanted remains nothing but a picturesque scene.
A life full of love, a place full of bliss.
Now we still wander. Now we still miss.
