Chaine was walking on the streets of Boracay, she was on her way to D' mall, may bibilhin lang. She passed by some street vendors, foreigners, locals, and she saw people on a small restaurant, nagkukumpulan ang mga ito sa harap ng tv.

"The ball is with Jones, passed to Williams! And blocked by Cameron! Wow! What a performance from Cameron!"

Napatigil siya sa narinig. Naghiyawan naman ang mga taong nagkukumpulan doon.

"The game is still tied! What an intense game this is! The ball was passed to Jonathan! Passed to Miller! Passed to Cameron! A dribble! A fake! And shoot! The game has ended! We have our season's champion!"

She saw people jumping up and down. Ang saya nila. She smiled at that. It has been five years since she last saw Hunt, and it has been five years since she last talked to him. She continued walking, but memories of what happened from the past flooded her mind.

She remembered when they stopped communicating with each other. She remembered how she cried everynight when Hunt left, how a mess she was after letting him reach his dreams. They would video call each other once a week pero sobrang bilis lang. Kung hindi siya nakakatulog, pagod naman si Hunt sa training, he was just starting back then.

Gabi gabi siyang umiiyak, she's missing him so much. Iniisip niya kung tama ba ang decision niya but It's for the best.

"Hi babe, I miss you so damn much"

They videocalled each other again. Hunt sounded so tired, and sleepy.

"I miss you too, sobra"

She stopped her tears from falling. Pinapakita niya kay Hunt na okay lang siya, na kaya niya.

"Chaine?"

He sounded so tired.

"Y-yes?" she was trying so hard not to cry in front of him.

"Pagod na ko Chaine"

She saw him drying the tear that fell on his cheeks. Ako din Hunt, pagod na ko. A tear fell from her eyes too.

"What do you want me to do?" ang sakit ng lalamuman niya kakapigil ng hikbi.

"What do you think?" tanong nito sa kanya "I miss you everyday. It's too hard for me to stop myself from going home, Chaine" iling nito sa kanya.

"Me too Hunt, I miss you everyday" she closed her eyes feeling the pain inside her chest. I miss you everyday that I want to tell you to go home na, na dito ka na lang sakin. Her tears started falling "It's hard to do my responsibilities when my heart is heavy, Hunt"

"Me too babe, this is weighing us down. It's so hard to move when I'm longing for you everyday"

"We should take a break"

"No Chaine, we just need a rest"

"No Hunt, we need to let things go so that we can move forward"

Her heart is breaking apart. Her tears started falling again. This is for the best, Chaine.

"No Chaine, please. We can still hold on babe, please, wag naman ganito" pagmamakaawa nito.

"Hunt, we'll both drown. If we can save each other by letting go then let's do that"

"Do you want that?"

No baby. She closed her eyes tightly.

"We need that"

She stopped herself from breaking down. I can't let him see me like this.
