Rise of The Darkness

Chapter 2

Serena's POV.

I needed some air I couldn't contain myself, I saw how frightened that poor boy looked.

He must think I'm some freak just like in the stories about my family. The more I thought about It the more angrier I got which caused lightning, I shrieked out a loud scream I felt my eyes go dark again as the winds got stronger crows flew over me as I let out an evil laugh.

Hunter's POV.

I was walking around the forest where I saw Serena heading when lightning suddenly appeared and the winds got stronger I then heard laughing so I followed the direction of the laughter and I saw Serena her hair was flying in the air her eyes we're black once again.

I ran up to her and held her hand she looked at me with sad eyes and the winds started to fade away as the lightning did the same and soon enough she was back to her old self.

"Serena, are you alright?" I asked as I hugged her tight.

She didn't hug back but then spoke up and asked "Aren't you terrified of me?"

I let her go and looked her in the eyes as she did the same.

"I am Serena, I'm horrified right now" I admitted

"Then why didn't you run off?" She questioned as she scrunched up her eyebrows

"Because I like you" I said pulling her close to me

But she backed away and turned around "I'm a witch! I'm a monster! a freak! that's why people stay away from us"

I wasn't surprised by what she confessed just now instead I just spun her around pulled her close again our faces we're inches away from each other I looked at her eyes then her lips and her eyes again "I don't care Serena, It doesn't matter what you are all I know is I like you" I said before shutting my eyes and connected my lips with hers.

She kissed back as she put her arms around my neck and my arms around her waist I felt the winds get stronger again we both pulled away seconds later only to see smiles both plastered on our faces "I like you too"

"So, where's you're broom and wand?" I joked

She laughed and pushed me playfully "We don't have that"

"Well, can you tell me about yourself?" I asked as we walked around the forest

"What do you wanna know?" She replied looking at me

"Why did you go all crazy?" I asked It was a very straight forward question I hope it didn't offend her.

"Well its because I'm ageing"

"Don't tell me your as old as a grandma" I chuckled

"I'm turning 16 after a couple of days and that means I get to choose whether I wanna be a dark witch or a light witch" she said fiddling with her fingers

"You're gonna choose the light right?" I worriedly asked as I looked at her I didn't want her to be a witch of darkness

"Of course I am" She grinned at me

"Then why does it seem like you're turning dark?"

"My mother and father chose to be dark and growing up with them well, darkness has all I have been seeing and hearing about and sometimes it gets to me" She said with her shaking hand.

"I'm sure you wouldn't turn dark you're too good for that" I said trying to get her into a better mood

"Hunter, I'm tired you should go"

"Let me take you home first"

"Close your eyes" She suddenly commanded as she held both my hands

"What why?"

"Trust me" was all she said I followed her command and closed my eyes.

Soon pure darkness was the only thing in sight and I didn't feel Serena with me anymore.
