Suga's eyes lit up, and he gave a small smile. I looked back at Asahi and gave an 'I told you so' look.

Who knew the boss had a soft spot.

~3 week time skip~

It's been a gruesome 3 weeks. I wasn't allowed to go on any missions because of my burns and I had to spend the time sitting in mission control not being able to do anything.

Daichi has been pretty useful around here. He still has access to the police records and is able to uncover just about anything about anyone. This helped save Asahi's life. Twice.

"Hey, boss!" I turned around to see Noya running towards me.

"Hey Noya, what's up?"

"I was wondering since Daichi has been really helpful lately, should we made him a permanent member of our team?"

"I actually have been thinking about that, I think it would benefit us, but I need everyone else's approval to do so."

"Well then let's go! We have no time to waste!" He said as he ran off somewhere.

"These people are gonna make my hair go gray," I mumbled. (Haha I'm so funny)

When I arrived at mission control everyone was already waiting for me. 

"I assume you already told them, Noya?" I asked.

"Yep!" He said with a smile.

"Well, what do you think about it? I think it would be beneficial." I explained, hoping that everyone was thinking the same thing.

"I think it's a good idea. I mean, how many times did Daichi's information gathering save Asahi's life? I approve." Yamaguchi voiced.

"I also agree." Tsukishima added, pushing up his glasses.

"I really need some way to repay him, so I approve." Asahi noted.

"Obviously I approve!" Noya exclaimed.

"I think it would be good. He's good competition. I approve." Tanaka piped up.

Ennoshita, Narita, and Kinoshita were whispering in a small circle. They broke and Ennoshita said, "We approve. He's kinda scary, but that's a good thing in this case."

"I think he would be good. I approve." Kageyama stated.

"Yeah! He makes my confidence go boom! And I feel like, like, Whoosh! When I'm around him!" Hinata was jumping up and down at this point.

"Well, then it's official. We just need Daichi to agree. Yamaguchi, will you go fetch him?" I asked.

"Of course!" He ran off.

𝑫𝒂𝒊𝒄𝒉𝒊 𝑷𝑶𝑽

I was sitting on my bed reading when I heard a knock on my door.

"Come in!" I yelled.

Yamaguchi walked in and said, "The boss would like to see you in mission control. It's kind of important."

I had a small panic moment as I thought,

I hope I'm not killed.

I walked into mission control to see everyone staring at me.

I'm going to die today.

Suga cleared his throat and started to speak.

"If you think you're going to die today, please think again. We were hoping that you would join us as a permanent member of the Yakuza. It's either join us or be killed. Keep in mind that it's Tsukishima's turn to kill prisoners. So you will probably die a slow and painful death."

Tsukishima glared at him. Noya started to giggle.

"Ok. So let me get this straight. If I join you I will help you do... whatever you do. But if I refuse, Tsukishima will use me as a test subject?" I asked.

"Basically, yeah."

"What will happen to my family? My friends?" I asked, starting to get scared.

"Well, there has been a search party going out to try and look for you, all we'll do is declare you dead," Suga said.

"Ok. Well, living for a few more years is better than dying tonight, so I accept." 

"Oh good! Ennoshita, go type a letter to the Japan times saying someone found a dead body and that it's Daichi. Yamaguchi, please escort Daichi back to his room."

"Yes, Boss!"

What am I getting myself into...

After 2 months of searching Officer Daichi Sawamura has been declared dead. No one was able to recover the body. "He will be missed," states Officer XXXXX, his old partner. He went missing on the night of August 5. The last people to have seen him alive said, 'they last saw him running after an orange-haired boy, he disappeared into an alleyway and was never seen again'. There will be a public funeral on October 23.
