The Kiss

The runaway kisss

It was a day like any other day in my ordinary boring life. The only fun part of my life was working at the auditorium helping with plays. But having to quit that job today was the hardest thing to do. My new job was taking up all my time.. I had no time for fun anymore.

The last night of freedom, the night of fun. My friends forced me to get all dressed up and go out with them. When I looked at myself in the mirror I looked like a totally different person I didn't recognize myself and neither did my friends.

I had to leave the party early to go lock my bosses house sometimes I wish the auditorium paid more so I could have stayed there. I walked in the elevator, nobody was in there, I closed my eyes and then the elevator stopped I thought that it was my stop and I was getting off but it wasn't, a guy walked in to the elevator and he was beyond cute. He smiled at me but we didn't say a word to each other.

Suddenly the elevator stopped again but the doors didn't open this time. We looked at each other and then the elevator started jerking. I fell into his arms and he looked me right in the eyes I couldn't help but smile I started to get up but then he pulled me closer and we kissed. Out of all the things that could have happened we KISSED.

It felt like the kiss lasted forever but then the elevator doors opened and I ran off like an idiot. I didn't even ask his name I didn't even talk to him all we did was kiss and I ran off, why did I run off?
