An Adventure that can't be Explained

Chapter 3

~~Rainbow's point of view~~

I woke up later the rain had stopped but it was still dark outside, I guessed it was night and I found I was correct when I looked out my window and saw the moon and stars. I got out of bed and was going to get some water but when I left my room I saw Galaxy leave the house through the side door that goes to the pool. This was odd being it was almost midnight and he was still awake let alone leaving. I got up and followed him being quiet as I did.

He walked on the outside of the wall that we had build around our house, I stayed on top of it and watched him, he was holding something, I couldn't see what it was but I was it shine when the moon hit it. Galaxy walked all the way around the wall and when back at the gate I saw what he was holding, it was a sword, and it looked like him, purple and blue with bits of white like stars. I waited until he was out of sight before I got down off the wall, but I slipped on a loose stone and fell in the bushes, I kept from screaming and I looked at my arms now having scratches from the bush's branches. I crawled out of the bush and whimpered laying on my back looking at the sky wondering why this kept happening to me.

Once I felt like I could get up, I did and slowly walked to the front door. I leaned on the wall as I opened it and slowly waked through. I felt my legs giving out and I was to far from the couch to grab it or get there, I knew I was going to fall and I accepted it. But instead of falling I felt arms hold me up. I looked up to see someone standing next me, my vision was blurry and I couldn't see well but I knew it was Galaxy being he was the only other one here and the glowing yellow around his eyes that I could see. He helped me get to the couch and sat me down sitting next to me.

"What were you doing outside? Are you okay?" He asked me sounding a bit nervous like he was hiding something, was I not suppose to know that he takes walks at night? Was it the sword maybe? I have never seen that sword until tonight. "I am fine." is all I could say and he just looked at me more concerned I didn't know why.

~~Galaxy's Point of view~~

I was less worried about what Rainbow found out when he was outside and more worried about him, he had scratches up and down his arms some of his clothing torn and when he spoke it was very glitching, not like stuttering but glitching and that is what worries me most. His voice has never done this before, and I have heard the stories of how he got his voice. Was his voice slowly going away? I didn't know, I just sat there with him and I noticed him shiver and I looked at him. "Are you cold?" I asked though it was a comfortable temperature inside, but he nodded and I got up and got a blanket out of the coffee table storage and handed it to him. I sat down as I watched him wrap himself up in it and smiled a little bit. We sat silently and after a bit of time I felt Rainbow's head lean on my shoulder and I thought he had fallen asleep but he quickly sat up strait and apologized and I told him it was okay but he still apologized and wrapped himself up tighter in the blanket.

I waited for Rainbow to be asleep before I got up again and walked out the door. I grabbed my sword and smiled and I walked around on the road going to the back of the house to the runway, my sword swung at my side as I walked. I went onto the runway and walked it, and when I turned around to go back I skipped down the runway and the side of the house, the I started running, there was no reason behind it, I just did and it felt nice with cool air under the moon and stars. It felt familiar in a way I can't remember. That is when I heard my name being called and I tripped and fell, I didn't feel anything at first until I tried to get up then I realized it hurt so much to move and I rolled on my side wincing and looked down my body and I saw the handle of my sword but not next to me but sticking out from the right side of my stomach.

I heard my name being called again it was Rainbow, I didn't want him to see this I looked around for a place to hide, the only place I could get to was the shadows of the gated arch, we never close the gate there was no need to anymore. I moved myself slowly on the ground to get under the arch and leaned back on the arch wall and sat there. "Galaxy?! Where are you?!" He sounded so worried but I didn't want him to know. My head rested limply staring at the stone ground, I felt tired but stayed awake. Each time I zoned out I was brought back by Rainbow calling my name, and soon enough he found me. As much as I didn't want him to find me, I couldn't wait a few more day for Sabre to get back and help me.

Rainbow started to panic and before I knew it, I was laying in my bed and I saw him looking down at me, I couldn't feel anything I didn't know what he was doing but I fell asleep before I could figure it out.
