He falls asleep slowly and I admire how calm he is. I take a quick picture and set it to my home screen before lifting his head and slowly sliding out from underneath him. He stays soft and asleep. I smile and press a quick kiss to his head before going to make lunch for when he wakes up and tidying up around my dorm since we made a bit of a mess. I hum as I clean then decide to go and buy new medical supplies. I write him a note that I'm buying supplies and will be right back, sign it Tenya, then leave it on the kitchen counter. I grab my wallet and keys, check that I have my phone in my pocket, then I'm out the door. I go down to the UA Student Shop they built recently to mill around and grab what I need. I check out then grab my bag and start walking back to my dorm. I run into Uraraka on my way and she waves. "Hiya, Iida! What'cha doing?" She asks and we both stop in the hallway to chat. "Oh, nothing much. Just restocking my old first aid kit. How about you?" I ask and she smiles easily. I wish Katsuki would smile more. "Just went to a mall outside UA with Midoryia. Why do you need to restock your first aid kit?" She asks and I shrug. "Some stuff just went out of date. Have a great day!" I say and we go our separate ways. It's almost laughable that Midoryia thinks I can't lie. Its not that hard, really. I make it back to my dorm without running into anyone else and walk inside. I feel a hand on my waist and before I really think I drop the bag, grab their wrist and force it away from them before pinning them to a wall with both wrists above their head. Katsuki looks back at me in shock and I blink in surprise. "Oh, I'm sorry. Be careful, you could get hurt." I say and am suddenly very aware of how close he is to me. I let him go and his arms fall gently. He seems to stare at me but I disregard it. He runs a hand through his hair as I back away then pat the table.
He sits on the table and takes his shirt off. I take off the bandage to find the cut is mostly healed. Good enough to be fine without a bandage and train. "Oi, not bad eh?" He says and I nod. I pull him forward slightly, into my chest so I can see his back. He wraps his arms around my torso and allows it. His back looks good and I run my hand over him softly. He relaxes to my touch, making me smile. "Why'd you have to put your glasses on again?" He asks and I shrug. "Don't I always put on my glasses?" I ask and he shakes his head against my chest. I pat his back and pull away softly. He looks up at me and I see he's serious. "I like you better without them. You seem more like Tenya and less like Four Eyes." He says and I laugh although I'm surprised he noticed. "Aren't they the same person?" I tease and he shakes his head. "No." He says and I take time glasses off. "Better?" I ask and he nods. He's being uncharacteristically quiet... what is he thinking about? I put my glasses on the table and he pulls the shirt I gave him back on.
"Want dinner? Its in the oven, Kat." I say and he gets up. "Sure. Have you already eaten?" He asks and I shake my head. "Nope. Figured I should wait on you." I say and we go to my kitchen. We sit at the table and eat as we chat in between it. He's so much more calm when its just us. "How's the brother?" He asks and I flinch. "Better. He's accepted it." I respond and he looks up. "Have you?" Oh shit. Oh shit. Have I? "Uh yeah, yeah." I mumble and he rolls his eyes. "You picked me up when I was sobbing like a child. You think you can't trust me? Out with it, damn it!" He says frustratedly and I sigh. "No, I haven't. I was helpless and almost died because of a stupid decision I made. He would be ashamed of me." I spill and he nods as he listens intently. "Everyone does impulsive things when they're emotional or in a high state of stress. You were in both. People have torn families apart for revenge only to find it doesn't offer the relief from guilt they thought it would. Its not your fault in any way, amd your family is still proud of you both for fighting to stay alive and successful." He says and I blink in surprise. Who knew Katsuki Bakugo could give great advice? "Close your mouth or you'll catch a fly." He comments sarcastically and I close my mouth.
"So how's your life at home?" I ask and he tenses slightly. "The Old Hag's a bitch and my dad's quiet." He says and I tilt my head slightly. "How is she a bitch?" I ask and he rolls his eyes. "Won't stop yelling at me, calls me weak, hits me over the head. Fucking annoying." He says and I look up. "You're damn right she's a bitch." I respond and he laughs. "She shouldn't hit you. I don't care if its smacking you over the head or whatever. The yelling I could understand because you're... you. And you're not weak. You survived being kidnapped by villains, attacked by the LoV who knows how many times, and are thriving in UA. How are you weak?" I say, a little mad now. I look up to see him blushing. Shit. "I didn't mean to make things awkward but I'm not wrong." I point out and he laughs a little. I wish he'd do that more.
