Infinite (sonic forces) x abused!introvert reader!

Authors note: I made the reader human, and some bits might be ooc of him, he seems cold but you get to know him, also takes place after his defeat.

You were on the run, from who? Your abuser.

It was a thick forest filled with all kinds of trees, creatures and darkness, you were exhausted, but you HAD TO keep running. No matter how long you ran, you felt like THEY were right behind you..
soon you ran out of energy and slumped down to lay beside a tree, little did you know cold eyes stared from afar. You wept and sobbed till you couldn't. You shook like a leaf and your body looked like a bruised orange (most bad bruises turn yellow before purple)
You laid there, cold, shivering and hungry. You had been running for hours and you were exhausted, dying and soaked from rain.

Thats when you heard a "tch" and a voice say.

"Pathetic really" said the voice coldly.

"Wh-what?... who's there!" You said fearfully

"Afraid and weak are we? Well, I would not expect more from the kind like you" the voice said and chuckled.

"Why did you come here just to torment me, I've already been tormented enough.. please leave me alone.." you pleaded him, and hoped you'd be left alone.

"Ha! If I'm talking to you it means I'm meant to torment you. Just like someone else I presume?" He hinted at your bruises

"Please don't hurt me.." your voice became panicked and you started to breathe harshly, getting a feeling of a panic attack.

"Why should i?!" He yelled at them intimidatingly"

"Please.. just..." they didn't finish their sentence till they started to cry and sob, having trouble breathing .

Infinite, no, Zero, had never seen such fear, and suddenly felt something he has never felt before-

Pity and guilt

He told himself to stop it and that they deserved such pain and misery. But his heart told him otherwise, his heart, that was made of ice, began to thaw.

"P-please.. don't hurt me like they did!!" You began to sob and shake uncontrollably.

"Uh-.. I, god damn it" he cursed under his breath. Thats when he looked at them for the first time, their h/c hair and e/c eyes matched their outer appearance...

Beautiful/handsome

He felt himself freeze. God, he couldn't stop himself from apologizing.

"I...I'm sorry... I just uh, treat others like that."
He shut himself up and began to leave.

"I... its okay... I forgive you.. please don't do that again though.." they shakily replied.

"They forgave me?!" He thought.
"Well, uh.. you uh, do you want me to stay here with you?" He asked still kind of coldly.

"I.. I guess.."
They went silent.

"....... human?.."
Oh.. they seemed to have fallen asleep.. or rather unconscious from all the damage they've been through..
Why do I feel, WEAK..
Just looking at them..
Well.. rather won't worry about that.. I guess I could be nice and help them..

You woke up on.. something, soft? A bed? Bedding? Something like that... how did you get there?
You looked around and noticed something, furry, black and white, sleeping on something similar as you did.
Memories flooded back to you.
"Oh.." you thought... he probably saw something and decided to help my weak @ss... well. That was uncomfortable but nice I guess.
You looked at him once more and fell back asleep.
