[Virgil's POV]
"I miss Y/N so,so much..." I thought to myself while thinking about Y/N . "I might as well text them, I hope they're doing well" I groaned and got out of bed to get my phone from the charger. Ever since Y/N left for their business trip I've been so depressed and anxious that they're in danger or trouble. I tugged the charger out of my phone and opened up the messages app after putting in my password.

V: Hey, how are you? Are you safe?
Y/N: Yeah! I'm doing pretty good! The only bad part is that I miss you really bad :(
V: How about, when you come home we cuddle all day and listen to My Chem?
Y/N: Awww Vergie you're so sweet! That sounds amazing! I can't wait to be safe in your arms again!
{I blushed deeply while reading what my beautiful partner had just told me... I really make them feel safe... I sighed and texted them back}
V: Well I'll hold you tight and tell you sweet things and what I love about you <3
Y/N: Awww stopppp! You're making me blushhhh!
V: You're so cute though~!
Y/N: I knowwww
Y/N: Damnit... I have to go back to working...
V: That sucks...
Y/N: I know but I'll be home tomorrow my little emo! I love youuuu! ❤️
V: I love you too my little sunshine ❤️

I sighed as I flopped onto my bed knowing that my precious baby wouldn't be home for another week...

WAIT LET ME READ THAT AGAIN-

I rushed to unlock my phone as I read the text again "I know, but I'll be home tomorrow" "OH MY- THE PERSON WHO IVE BEEN MISSING FOR A MONTH, I GET TO SEE THEM TOMORROW!!!" I screamed out and lightly jumped with joy, quickly clasping my hands over my mouth so no one else would hear.

I woke up quickly and got dressed without worrying about my appearance because I was so excited to see Y/N. I had drove over to the airport where Y/N had told me to pick them up at. I sat and waited for 30 minutes, not wanting to miss them. And of course, I wanted to be early

It had been almost and hour and I started to grow tired and worried, my anxiety got higher every second. "Y/N IS THIRTY MINUTES LATE OH LORD WHAT IF THE PLANE CRASH WHAT IF THEY WERE KILLED OR KIDNAPPED!!!" My worried thoughts were cut off by a pair of arms wrapping tightly around me as I felt a warm ball of energy under me. It was Y/N. Almost after a whole month. I got to see the love of my life once again. I wrapped my arms tightly around them and rested my head in the crook of Y/N's neck. I spoke to them, with my voice muffled, "I missed you so much my little sunshine... I'm so glad your back" My voice cracked a little at the end and we started to cry in each other's arms. Y/N looked at me and wiped their eyes while asking, "Can we go home and cuddle now like you promised?" I wiped my tears as well and shook my head as we walked out of the airport holding hands.

[Y/N POV]
I was so, so, sooooo excited to finally be home again after that long, stressful, one month long, business trip! I held Virgil's hand as we entered the house.
Thomas greeted me, "Oh hey Y/N! I'm so glad that you made it home safely!" I responded, "Yeah! The plane trip was actually quite relaxing to be honest! But me and Virgil are gonna he spend so time alone since we haven't seen each other for a while!" Thomas nodded his head and waved at us as we went up stairs. Virgil swept me off my feet, quite literally as he picked me up and opened the door to our room. He set me down on the nicely done bed and freshly done sheets. I had noticed that the room was very, very cold, perfect for cuddling. I looked up at Virgil who was taking his jacket off. "I see what you did Virgil~! You made sure that it was cold so that way I would cuddle really close to you!" I made a stupid smile and he blushed and crawled into bed with me. He responded "Yeah well... no dip I obviously want to hold you close to me!" He seemed angry that I made him blush, but maybe he liked it... He turned to face me and opened his arms. I scooched close so I could wrap my arms around him tightly and he did the same. "I'll never let you go my love..." He told me softly. I blushed and snuggled close to him since it was so cold. "I missed you Virgie..." "I missed you too" We stayed there cuddling the rest of the day in a comforting silence.
