Part 3:The trials

Taylor's pov:

I ran to trials blushing *in head*"how can a man be that perfect" I thought my heart fluttering at the thought of him *in head*"oh no! After that he probably thinks I'm weak and just a girl. I'm surprised he even let me near the army. I honestly thought he would stop me"I arrived at the trials and passed them all with ease. It was just a normal Saturday night for me until he walked in, I started to shake and I started to blush and couldn't shoot straight next thing I knew he was walking towards me and I almost dropped my gun and dropped about 5 bullets trying to reload "no no, sweetheart that's not how you reload and shoot a gun"he laughed a little and smiled warmly at me and my heart melted, I loved this man so much but he's probably just trying to be nice cause I'm a woman"heheh sorry" I said nervously *in head*omg really!?!?! What was that! Who just apologised for nothing like that!?!?" I thought in my head "here let me show you"he wrapped one around me to straighten my aim then helped me reload my gun"there you go! Better?" He said "yeah thanks"I replied and smiled and managed to shoot straight "well done! Your doing great" he said happily and I almost had a nose bleed "thanks" I smiled and said as he walked past me and helped out others

-time skip-

The trials had finished and we all lined up as the red leader walked in with a list of people who passed the trials "the following people I call out will be the ones who passed" he paused then continued "Finley Logan!, Marcus Roberts!" He called out about 40 more names. I was so nervous I started to tremble, I thought my legs would give way! But luckily they didn't. I felt sick and I was about to throw up but I bit my tongue and threatened myself not to and just kept a straight face and thought to myself *in head*"if I don't pass this, it's over, I have nowhere else to go since I have the government and my dad after me"I took a breaths and collected myself. The red leader finally called out the last name"and last but certainly not least! Taylor Martinez!". I felt a great rush of relief down my spine and I was finally able to breathe again, until the red leader walked up to me again of course. The words that came out of his mouth surprised me. "Well done! I am very impressed with your scores, you done brilliantly". I froze in shock and no words came out of my mouth...
