Passing Notes {6}

     Staring out of the window with an apathetic look on your face, you close your eyes for a moment. Blocking out the boring maths lecture, a calm atmosphere surrounds the quiet classroom. Only the sound of pens and pencils scratching on paper and the teachers words echoed the room. Boredom washed over you.

     Jumping up a bit in your seat, you stare down at the small folded piece of paper that appeared on your desktop. Glancing over to the side, you see Lev peaking over at you and quickly looking away. The tips of his ears were bright pink. Sighing, you take the paper and unfold it.

     You know what's beautiful? Read the first word.

     Your face scrunched up and your fingers gripped at the note tightly. Your eyebrows furrowed a bit. Glimpsing over at him, you quickly crumple up the note and throw it back at him. Huffing a bit, you snap your head back in the direction of the window.

     Your breathing becomes still as you look down at your desk get again. Another crisply folded note lay there on your workspace. Snatching up the note, you unfold it.

     Wanna sit with me at lunch? <3

     A small tic mark plastered itself on your forehead as you grab a pen tightly. You begin writing your response.

     Will you stop annoying me if I do?

     Harshly crumpling up the paper, you throw it at the back of his head. He glances down at the note and unwraps it delicately. His smile turns ten times wider as he quickly grabs a pencil and scribbles down something. He folded up the paper and flicked it on your desk. Unfolding the paper, you stare at the writing.

     Yes!

     Sighing, you crumple up the note and shove it into your pencil bag. Your ears perk at a small humming noise. You stare over at Lev and you see him bouncing his leg and humming a small tune, a warm and ditzy smile on his face. He catches onto your stare and looks back at you. A large grin finds it way into his face and he winks at you. Warmth fills your cheeks and you look away.

     Quickly stuffing your notes and writing utensils inside of your backpack, you sling it over your shoulder and make your way out of the classroom swiftly.

     "Y/n-Chan, Wait up!" Lev shouted after you.

     Sighing, you slowed down your pace for him to catch up to you. His tall frame came into your peripherals beside you. Walking alongside him through the hallways, you ask,

     "So...where are we eating?"

     "Well, I thought we could eat in the classroom, but now that we aren't in there anymore, we can eat outside!"

     "Okay."

     You took the lead to the doors heading outside. The few hallways you two had to travel through were quiet, only a few students standing idle in small groups. Walking through the outside doors, a warm breeze flew into your face. A calm atmosphere surrounded you two as you walked to a few benches under some trees.

     Sitting down on a bench, you pull out your bento box you packed last night. Lev in turn sits down on the bench to the right of you and pulls out his lunch.

     "Itadakimasu" You clasp your hands together before digging into your rice ball.

     "Itadakimasu" You glance at Lev and watch him as he grabs his chopsticks and shoved a whole oinarisan into his mouth. His cheeks were stuffed as he chewed.
