Chapter 3

After my shift at the coffee shop ended I headed back home. I walked inside to find my step father was surprisingly sober. I walked upstairs, and got ready to go hang out with Bakugou and his friends at the arcade. Once I came back down I put on my shoes and was about to leave but I heard my step father call me over. "(Y/n) get over here."

"What is it?"

"Where are you going?"

"I'm going to hang out with friends."

"Isn't that where you've been all afternoon?"

I couldn't tell him about the job, so I had to go with what he thought. "Yeah."

"Then I think you can stay here, you've been out of the house for long enough today."

"Fine." I knew it would be useless to argue, so I didn't try.

I walked upstairs and texted Bakugou.

Me: Hey, sorry tell Kirishima
and Kaminari I can't come today.

Bakugou: Why not?

Me: My Step father is sober today
and won't let me leave the house.

Bakugou: Sorry

Me: You don't need to be sorry.
I'm sorry that I can't come.
Maybe next time.

I walked over to my window and climbed out. I sat down on the roof of the porch and listened to music for a while. After about half an hour I got a phone call from Bakugou. I turned off my music and answered the call.

"Hey (l/n)!" I pulled the phone away from my ear since it was so loud.

"Hey Kaminari!"

"Quiet down dunce face."

"Hey (l/n) Bakugou told us why you couldn't make it. I'm sorry man, that really sucks, hopefully you can make it another time." He told them? I thought I could trust him to keep it to himself. I don't want people to know my stepfather's a drunk. That's personal stuff, but apparently Bakugou doesn't know what not to say.

"I'm sorry I couldn't make it. But I'm actually gonna have to go, I'm not feeling the best."

"Yeah, you should get some rest. Talk to you later (l/n)."

"See you guys tomorrow."

"Bye."

I hung up, and climbed back into my room. I can't believe him, that's clearly personal information and he told them about it. What else has he told them, and what have they told other people. Did he tell them I'm gay? Does the whole hero course know by now.

Time Skip: Next day

I walked out of the classroom, and past Bakugou, Kirishima, and Kaminari. I saw Bakugou look over at me as I walked by. After some time of walking by myself Bakugou ran up to me. "Leave me alone Bakugou."

"(L/n) please. Just tell me what's wrong."

"I said leave me alone."

"Damnit (l/n), just tell me! Did I do something wrong?!"

"Yeah you did something wrong!" I said turning around to face him. "You fucking told them about my stepfather! That was personal and you told them!" I started to tear up as I yelled.
