It is the 22nd of December. Maddie and Jesse are now eating side by side at their new place.

"Ay, Jess, may regalo nga pala ako sayo," sabay abot ni Maddie ng isang gift box sa kanya.

"Aww salamat Dii! Meron din ako sayo!"

"Salamat Jeeesss! Yieeee exchange gift lang ang peg hahahaha!"

"Pasasalamat ko rin ito para sa iyo, hihi."

"Ako riiiin, I hope magustuhan mo yan, hehe. Di mo siya magagamit, but I hope you'll remember me by that."

"I'm sure matatandaan kita dyan Dii, bakit naman kita malilimutan? I do appreciate this effort mo."

"Awww sweety," halik niya kay Jesse.

They both talked to each other even after they ate. The song for the dance floor is in the party dance. Though she is a great dancer, Maddie doesn't do party ones. So she insisted on him not to dance.

But when the song changed to slow and romantic dance, Jesse asked her on the dance floor.

"Maddie," at inabot niya ang kanyang kamay, "Tara, sayaw tayo?"

Ngumiti ng malaki si Maddie, "Sure, this dance will do naman, hehe."

Off they go and on the dance floor. They danced through the music and enjoyed themselves.

The longer they were there, the closer they are, and 'til Maddie can wrap her hands around him while they dance.

"Sana di na mabago yung tugtog," bulong ni Maddie.

"Gusto ko na lang magtagal na magkasama tayong ganito," halik ni Jesse.

"Hmmm," sabay higpit pa lalo sa kanyang pagkakayakap.

It lasted longer than half an hour, then the music changed again to its upbeat. Upon hearing it, Maddie frowned but also laughed while pulling them both away from the dance floor.

Before they got near their seats, Jesse pulled and took her outside the event place.

"Tara, may ipapakita ako sayo."

"Hmm, saan?"

"Nasa parking lot, hehe."

"Ikaw ah, baka iba yan."

"Hmmm, mmm, iba pa sa iba, hehehe."

They hurried to go there. Jesse then put his hands on her eyes for her to close them. He opened his car to get another surprise for Maddie.

"Hmm, open your eyes now, Dii," masayang sinabi ni Jesse.

When she opened her eyes, Maddie found him standing next to his car and she was surprised! With this, she went towards – or passed him.
