*Lydia's Pov*
Another day at home laying in my bedroom doing nothing. I really wish Colby was here but he's in LA with Sam and I wish I could have a YouTube but my parents are over protective of me from something I did years ago. I'd never go back to that person every again but my parents think I will. I sighed from my bed and got up going to my computer and opening it going to Skype. I saw that Colby was on and so I decided to call him. It rung for like 3 minutes then he popped up on the screen.
"Hey" I said with small smile.
"Hey babe" he said with a smile back.
"How is it going over there in LA?" I asked him.
"It's uh good. I just finished filming a video for my channel. What about you? How is it over there?" He asked me.
"I'm bored. Literally everything I want to do I can't do it because of my parents. They think I'm going to do what I did back in high school again but I'm not. They are literally treating me like a fucking child and I'm sick and tired of it" I said ranting to him.
"Just tell them how you feel. Tell them that your not a child anymore because your not. You basically act more mature then me and Sam combined even though you are younger than us. Also tell them you are not that girl anymore" he said.
"I don't know. Basically I'm becoming depressed if I don't leave home. I'm tired of seeing this room everyday" I said.
"Then tell them that. They will listen I promise" he said.
"Really I don't know" I said shrugging.
"Once you tell them then you will feel better. Trust me I did it with my parents" he said.
"That's because they aren't over protective of you like mine are" I said.
"True but they still wouldn't let me do things other kids did" he said.
"Yeah" I said and I groaned laying my head down.
"Alright. It's almost midnight here and I'm getting tired. I'll talk to you tomorrow Babygirl. I love you" he said and I smiled at him.
"Love you too" I said softly and we ended the call.
"You know what. He's right" I said and grabbed my phone and walked out of my room to the living room where Mom and Dad were.
Ben was downstairs playing video games as always.
"Mom. Dad. We need to talk" I said.
"About what sweetheart?" Mom asked me.
"Why won't you let me do things other kids do?" I asked them.
"We let you do everything Lydia" Dad said.
"No you don't. You won't let me be who I want to be, you won't let me go to parties, you won't let me post on social media without your consent, you won't let me wear ripped skinny jeans and crop tops, you won't let me stay out pass my curfew and you won't let me have a YouTube" I said listing off the things they won't let me have and do.
"Lydia-" Mom said and I shook my head.
"No Mom. You guys are treating me like a child. You think I'm going to try and commit suicide again but I won't. I'm not that girl anymore!" I said exclaiming.
"Honey we are not treating you like a child" Dad said.
"Yes you are. I don't do things I want to do. You won't even let me go visit Sam and Colby in LA when I need them the most right now" I said.
"What do you mean?" Mom asked.
"Me being here is making me depressed again. I'm sick and tired of seeing my room everyday. I want to go out and be who I am. I want to be a YouTuber like Sam and Colby. I want to make music with the songs I write. I want to be able to wear what I want. Hell I even want to get a few piercings and at least 3 tattoos in my life. I basically feel like I'm invisible to my friends and the world" I said and Mom and Dad looked at each other.
"You're right honey. We have been treating you like a child. I'm so sorry you feel that way. If you want to be a YouTuber and post stuff on social without telling us you can. We won't tell you who you want to be anymore. You are you" Mom said and I hugged her.
"Thank you Mom" I said and she hugged back.
"Please forgive us sweetheart. You can do what you want with your life. If you want to move out to LA with Sam and Colby then you can. Start the new chapter in your life there" Dad said and I smiled.
"Of course I can forgive you" I said and hugged Dad.
I pulled apart from them and looked at them.
"Now. Can I go out and buy me a camera for my soon YouTube channel?" I asked them.
"Of course" Mom said.
"And some clothes what I want to wear?" I asked her and she nodded.
"Yes. Now go. Have fun" she said and I smiled and ran to my room grabbing my purse, wallet and charger.
I grabbed my keys to my orange Jeep Wrangler and I went outside and got in it.

I drove off to the mall and soon I arrived and entered. I went straight to Best Buy and looked around. I decided to FaceTime Sam because he's usually up at the time it is in LA and I need to ask him what type of camera is best for vlogs and YouTube videos.
"Hello little sister" he said popping up.
"Hey so I'm buying a camera for YouTube-" I started but he cut me off.
"Wait? I thought Mom and Dad didn't let you have YouTube and all that jazz" he said.
"Yeah. I told them how I felt about being invisible to my friends and the world and all that jazz then they are letting me do what I want to do with my life now" I said.
"I'm glad you finally told them. Anyway what do you need again?" He asked me.
"What is the best camera to use for YouTube and vlogs?" I asked him.
"The best camera to use would be the Panasonic Lumix GH5. It has great quality and great long lasting batteries. Also get a GoPro because if you want to do like an under water montage and stuff like that it would be great for that type of stuff because it's waterproof" he said and I nodded.
"Alright. Thanks big bro. Mom and Dad said I can start my new life in LA if I wanted" I said.
"Wait really?" He asked and I nodded.
"Yeah. I'm going to tell Colby tomorrow" I said.
"He is going to be so happy. He actually has been talking about you wanting to move in with us once Mom and Dad stopped treating you like a little kid" he said.
"Really? Well I'll definitely say yes to moving in with you guys" I said.
"Alright. I'm going to get some sleep Lyd. I'll talk to you tomorrow. Bye" he said.
"Alright Sammy. Bye" I said and we hung up.
I got the camera and GoPro then I got the tripod and flashlight type thing that goes on the camera. I also got a ring light for my phone too. After I payed for my stuff I went back to my Jeep and put them in the truck and covered it with a blanket. I then went back inside and went to many stores and got some crop tops, ripped jeans, band shirts, some more jewelry and makeup. I got some more Nike Air-Forces, a few pairs of Dr. Martens and a few pairs of vans. I then went home and put my stuff away and put my new camera stuff on my bed. I opened my laptop and went to YouTube and made a channel. I decided to make my first video tomorrow and so I put the camera stuff away and got ready for bed. I soon fell asleep.
