Brothers: CHAPTER 1

Y/n's pov

First day of work, can you imagine it? I just finished my college now i'm immediately starting my work as secretary, well my friend said this company's vice chairman was looking for a secretary so why lose the opportunity. I just hope that Kim Taehyung is not that mean or else i'll quit that job with no doubt.

Many hours later

Well i'm now at the desk and it's almost 8 pm, i must say he was not that mean but he just got a lot of orders, i even have to make his coffee, i mean i'm his secretary not his freaking maid, but oh well here it goes. Lost in my thoughts i saw Taehyung coming out from his office with an annoyed face and coming close to me, "what the hell secretary Lee, i thought i had no dinner plans tonight!" He said yelling at me, maybe i was wrong he maybe is actually mean, "i'm sorry vice chairman, i promise to do better at the future" i said while looking down to him, i heard he's the one who doesn't really care about explanations so i guess i just won't explain my mistakes. "You better do or else i'll fire you" he said with fiery eyes, "chill there dude it's just a one mistake and besides it's her first day" says that man that just came out of nowhere "Not today kim jungwoo" kim jungwoo... i suddenly realised he's the vice president of this company so i took a bow to him and he slightly bowed back, "Don't even tell me you don't make mistakes" Taehyung said to jungwoo who's now looking at him with an 'i'm not scared of you' face "i do make mistakes taehyung, so do you" he said knowing that he won, Taehyung just smirked and got out of the place, "thanks for that vice president" i said while bowing down to him "don't bother, taehyung's just like that when his secretary make a mistake" he said while smiling "i see" i said as response "so you have to be more careful and make sure things are well settled because he doesn't give any second chances" he said, well atleast it's not that a big problem, i could just make another dinner plan for the next days "thanks for the advice, may i ask what brings you here?" I said while smiling "well i came to talk to him about business but then i just caught him yelling at you" he said, "oh i guess it's not the right time then" i said as response "well is it the right time to ask you out for dinner?" He said while smiling "sorry what?" I said confused "you heard the right thing" he said, "i mean yeah sure" i said shyly because who would expect vice president to ask you out? Right? "I'll meet you after work then" he said then winked at me "sure bye" i said and then watch him go.

10 minutes later

It's 8 pm already and i finally finished my paper works, i don't really know where to meet jungwoo since he didn't tell where to meet and we also didn't exchange phone numbers so i just walked by to his office hoping i would see him there, after not so long i finally got to his assistant's desk, "excuse me, is the vice president president still here" i asked to the secretary who's signing a paper works so i couldn't really see her face, as soon as she raise her head my mouth slightly opened because of shockness, "tzuyu?" I said as i recognised her "sorry do i know you?" She said confusedly "it's me Lee y/n from elementary" i said as i explained who i am, "no way! You've changed a lot" she said "i get that a lot" i said then both of us chuckled "what brings you here?" She asked "i work here as secretary of the vice chairman" i said as response "really? I didn't know it was you" she said "well it's actually my first day today" i said "cool i hope the vice chairman's treating you well so far" she said then winked at me which caused us to laugh "well he actually yelled at me earlier" i said while whispering but enough for her to hear "that's harsh but you'll get used to it anyways, besides the vice president is also like that when i make a mistake" she said and bots of us chuckled "by the way what were you asking earlier?" She asked "oh i was asking for the the vice president" i said as response "oh he finished not so long ago, maybe 5 mins before you get here, is there something you want to give him?" She asked "ah no, the vice chairman only want him in his office, i'll just tell him he already left since i think it's not really important" i said lying "i see, i'll see you around then" she said "sure, bye!" I said waving then left her desk. I wonder where could he be, i shrugged my shoulders and just got out from the company as soon as i got out i saw as car just infront of me, i tried looking through his window but i couldn't see who it was after that the glassdoor of the car lowered and inside i saw jungwoo, he waved at me while smiling and i waved back obviously, "come in the car" he said "sure" i said then got in the front seat, "for how long have you waited vice president?" I asked "just around 10 minutes" he said then started driving "i'm sorry you really had to wait, i just had a little talk with assistant Chou" i said explaining myself "no need to be sorry and i didn't know you and assistant chou know each other" he said "oh we were schoolmate from elementary school" i said smiling, "that's such a coincidence" he said "it really is, i never expect to see someone i know work in the company too. By the way vice president, may i ask where are we going?" I asked "first of all when we're outside the company just call me jungwoo and just talk comfortably and we're just going on a simple restaurant" he answered. An awkward silence just came between us as i was looking outside.

5 minutes later

"We're here" he said as we get out of the car and get inside the restaurant, i must say jungwoo's pretty basic well i actually mean he's filthy rich and he choose being in a basic restaurant other than into fancy ones, i mean this is the kind of restaurant i would often go to. "You're probably wondering why did i choose to go into a basic restaurant other than fancy ones" he said that cause me to widened my eyes a little "i guess i was right" he said then we both chuckled "right, but why though?" I asked "it's better eating a cheaper food than those expensive ones, i mean example for meats they're just the same meat but the fancy ones just made it more expensive, i just don't get people sometimes" he said "you have so many reasons and too dramatic about meats" i said causing us to laugh "but admit it, it kinda make sense" he said "yeah sure" i said sarcastically.

30 minutes later

We just finished eating and talked about nonsense things, now it's time for us to go home "want me to drive you home" he asked "if you don't mind though" i said as response "fine then" he said as we got back to his car and he actually drove me home.

15 minutes later

"That's it, that's my apartment" i said as i point at my apartment, "i'll see you tomorrow then?" Jungwoo said making sure i would go to work tomorrow "of course, but can i ask one thing?" As said "go on" he said allowing me to ask him, "are you perhaps flirting with me?".
