Hmm, should you be honest and tell him how tragic your year has been going? The sadness that the events had brought was as dispiriting as the term 'Time of the Month' is. Maybe worse though.

Or let's just tell him the classic 'I'm fine' nonsense?

"I'm doing well," well— as in doing well in depression.

"Do you expect me to believe that?" He snickered. He knew better than to ignore your lying mouth.

"I was gone for like what, a year and you're telling porkies. Can you stop being a brat and not lie to my handsome face?" He shrugged off your eye-roll, making sure to observe whether he's right about you lying.

You exhaled from your mouth, refraining to pucker your lips in front of a fully aware Seokjin.

He raised his eyebrows, "Well?"

"Should I really?" You asked quietly.

The man chuckled at the sight of you, suddenly hiding in your shell. "What ever might have happened couldn't be that bad, right?"

That reaction wasn't surprising at all.

"..What?" Seokjin lowered his voice, realizing there were other people in the cafe. "You're telling me, that my cousin has to have a child with you?"

"Listen, even I don't like this! The guy has a lover for goodness' sake, and we're bestfriends! I just wish... they told us sooner."

He nodded in understanding. What you were going through was already rough, he didn't want to worsen anything.

Cautiously watching you, he frowned a little, "I have a question though." You nodded.

"Why should you receive the punishment, and not Jungkook?"

The family took careful steps through the woods,  your arms tightly wrapped around your father's neck as he carried you. There, you finally caught sight of a colorful garden abundant in beautiful flowers. The welcoming view was a great contrast to the somber and mysterious forest.

"Come in!"

The home was warm and cozy. As expected from your lovely grandmother.

"Look at my pretty Y/n, you've grown so quick. Where's your brother?" She held your wrist gently and pulled you into the wonders of her cabin.
