Jaden's POV

Quinton was hurting Y/n and I could help her, I felt like a horrible boyfriend. She was screaming in pain, I couldn't take it seeing her getting hurt. I screamed at Quinton and he stabbed Y/n in the chest, I screamed. I saw her eyes roll back and she blacked out, I took all the anger in me and pulled on the ropes. It broke and I jumped onto Quinton, I was punching him in the face and his nose was bleeding. I saw he was about to pull out a gun, I grabbed it and stood up pointing it at him.

"Shoot me, are you scared lover boy" he said laughing and I shot him in his shoulder.

"Shut the fuck up!" I screamed, I searched his pockets and found his phone, I called the police and they said that their on their way with the ambulance. I went over to Y/n and checked her pulse...nothing. Not even one small heartbeat, she can't leave me! I heard the sirens and a few policeman filled the basement, I put the gun down and shook Y/n while balling my eyes out.

Fuck! Y/n wake up!
I need you, your my everything.
Without you in my life there's no meaning.
Please don't leave me, not now!
Wake the fuck up!!

The EMT told me I needed to move so they could put her on the stretcher, they allowed me to come with and I was holding her hand in mine. She can't leave my I fucking love her, she's the love of my life, the woman I want to marry, the woman that will carry my children one day and we will be together forever and always.

We finally got to the hospital and they rushed her inside, they told me I had to stay in the waiting room. I sat down in a chair and my leg bounced up and down.

Y/n please be strong, for me, for our future together.

I saw everyone running up to me and they drowned me in  a bunch of questions, but I ignored all of them.

"What happened?" Avani asked.

"Where is she?" Taylor asked.

"Is she okay?" Josh asked.

"Jaden, answer us!" Anthony yelled and I stood up and turned to him.

"DON'T FUCKING YELL AT ME, SHE COULD DIE BECAUSE I COULDN'T SAVE HER IN TIME, QUINTON FUCKING STABBED HER!!!" I screamed they all looked shocked.

"IF SHE DOESN'T MAKE IT I DONT KNOW WHAT I WILL DO WITH MY LIFE, SHE'S THE POWER SOURCE OF MY WHOLE UNIVERSE. SHE'S THE REASON WHY MY HEARTBEATS, MY HEARTBEATS FOR HER. THIS IS ALL MY FUCKING FAULT!!" I screamed as I punched the wall, I felt a hand on my shoulder and I turned around to see Anthony.

"I'm sorry for screaming at you, but just remembered that we are all here for you when you need us and we will be with you every step of the way, even if she makes it or doesn-" he said but I cut him off.

"She will make it, I know she will. She's strong, she will fight through this" I said and sat down.

2 hours later a doctor came walking in with a clipboard in her hand.

"Anyone where for Y/n Y/l/n!" She said and I ran over to her.

"How is she?" I asked.

"She's stable, it's a miracle that she made it. She lost alot of blood, she must be a really strong fighter" she said with a smile.

"She is" I said softly looking down at my feet and smiled to myself.

"Can I go see her?" I asked the doctor.

"Sure" she walked to a room and I followed not far behind. I walked in and saw Y/n awake looking out the window from her hospital bed. I walked up to her and sat down next to her, she just stared past me. I think she was still in shock.

"Hey baby, I know you must still be in shock but your safe now. He went to jail and won't hurt you again, and this time I'm gonna keep my promise" I said holding her hand, she finally looked at me and gave me a weak smile.

"I hurts so bad Jaden" she said as she lightly held onto her chest.

"Don't worry it will get better" I said. "Should I asked you doctor for painkillers?" I asked her and she nodded. I left the room and a nurse walked past.

"Excuse me?" I said and she turned to look at me.

"Yes sir?" She said.

"Can I get painkillers for Y/n Y/l/n?" I asked.

"Sure I'll send her doctor" she said as she walked around the corner. I went back inside and sat by Y/n.

"I'm so sorry, this is all my fault" I said as a tear ran down my cheek, she cupped my face with her right hand and rubbed her thumb lightly against my cheek.

"It's not you fault" she said.

"It is, I couldn't keep you safe" I said

"Let me ask you a few questions" she said.

"Go ahead" I said.

"Did you know he was gonna come?" She asked.

"No" I replied.

"Did you know I was gonna get hurt?" She asked.

"No" I answered.

"Who called the police?" She asked.

"Me" I replied.

"Who shot him in the shoulder to protect me?" She asked.

"Me" I said.

"Who held my hand on the way to the hospital?" She asked.

"How do you know that?" I asked.

"I woke up but I could open my eyes" she said.

"Now answer my question" she demanded playfully.

"Me" I said.

"The way I see it is that you did keep me safe" she said.

"But look, your in a hospital bed" I said looking at the heart monitor.

"Do me one favour" she said.

"What?" I asked.

"Close your eyes and listen to your surroundings" she said, I closed my eyes and all I could hear was the beeping heart monitor.

"Now open your eyes and tell me what you heard" she said and I opened my eyes.

"I only heard the monitor beeping" I said and she gave me a small smile.

"Exactly, that means I'm safe and my heart is beating. And its beating for you and our future" she said and i started to tear up. The doctor walked in with a tray, there was food on it for Y/n.

"First eat and wait for a few minutes before you take the pill" she said and left the room. I watched her as she ate, how did I get so lucky to have someone like her in my life? She's so perfect, of course she makes mistakes but everyone does. I really am in love with this girl, she's my everything.
