UNEXPECTED LOVE

CHAPTER 17

The scene starts from Twinkle & Kunj sitting ready in a car all set to go somewhere.

Kunj: Twinkle its fine yrr. I just have to attend one meeting. You don't need to come with me.

Twinkle: Kunj ek to mai tmhe jane de rhi hu. Doctor told you to take proper rest.

Kunj: Jane kaha...khud bhi to chl rhi ho.

Twinkle: Just to keep an eye on you, Mr. Sarna. I wouldn't have given you the permission if you wouldn't have made that puppy face of yours in front of me.

Kunj: Fine... If you will get bored then don't complain later.

Flashback-

Twinkle and Kunj were sharing an eye lock which was broken by Kunj's cellphone ring.
Kunj immediately got up and picked up the call.

He talked for some time asking about the files and presentations while Twinkle was just looking at him.
He cut the call and told Twinkle he had to attend a very important meeting which will be just of few minutes and as the company's head he surely needs to be present there.

Twinkle: Kunj are you mad? You can't even do your own work properly.
Attend it from home na.

Kunj: Signature mera bhoot krega?

Twinkle: Still my answer is no.

Kunj: Look Twinkle it's very important. I can't even postpone the dates said Kunj making a puppy face.

It was tough to hear yes from her mouth but after a lot of requests she agreed.
 
Twinkle: Okay let's go.

What exactly do you mean by let's go? said Kunj narrowing his eyes.

Twinkle: Choose to sit at home and lose your so-called important meeting or let me come with you.

Kunj: And what will YOUHH do there?

Twinkle: Of course I will keep an eye on you.

Kunj: (In a huffing voice) You are becoming bossy day by day... TWINKLE

Adat daal lo Mr. Sarna...Now you have to bear me till births said Twinkle smilingly.

They both reached the office and entered inside. Kunj noticed some of his staff members staring at Twinkle but he chose to ignore them.

He went to attend the meeting while Twinkle was told or say strictly ordered by her husband to be in his cabin and wait for him.

Kunj himself doesn't why he told Twinkle not to move out of his cabin...'em coz he was getting some bad vibes.
 
An hour passed but Kunj was still in his meeting. Twinkle was getting bored so she started exploring his cabin.
The room was painted all black with a touch of grey in it. Everything was neatly and perfectly placed at its place.
To pass some time Twinkle decided to read something and in the process of picking up the magazine some of the papers from it made their way out of the window to which Twinkle was standing close.

"Ohh fish...It could be some important papers. I should go and bring them back".

Twinkle hurriedly went out of the cabin and seeing her out those same staff members came to her who were staring her when she entered.

"Yes, miss...do you need anything?"

I need to go downstairs..Can you tell me the way to the lift?

Yeah..let me drop you, till there.

No thanks!! Just tell me the way. What's the need to...

Areh come with us...and the next moment one of them held her hand.

Leave my hand, told Twinkle angrily.

What?

I said leave my hand!

We are just trying to help you.

No, I don't need your help. (Left Twinkle saying)

Take the second left...shouted one of them.

Twinkle: Weirdos!  what he shouted haaa second left... I have to come back before Kunj's meeting gets over.

She went inside the lift without noticing the caution sign of danger stating that the lift was strictly prohibited to use because of some technical issues.

It took a minute for Twinkle to realize that she needs to worry as suddenly lift stopped moving and lights also went off.

She started panicking and shouting for help but no response came from outside.
She reached her phone but no network was available and at the same time she remembered her first meeting with Kunj.

The way he soothed her engulfing her in his embrace when they both were stuck in the mall's lift.
Before losing her consciousness she just wished Kunj to become a superhero and again save her life one more time.
