Y/N's POV

I followed the steps behind the two men in suit while being followed by two others.I don't know why but I felt like a criminal who was being dragged away for an investigation due to a grave crime,well,in my case it wasn't YET.My heart was racing for some reason as if I was scared facing him but my ego overpowered it.
Suddenly we stopped in front of a door where I saw my friend and that relieved me.

"Why did you guys bring her here?And why are you surrounding her?GET AWAY FROM HER!" screamed Minyoung.

The four men moved away from me and bowed to her before they left.

"Are you okay?Why did they bring you here?Did they trouble you?Those little-" I interrupted her.

"I'm fine....AT LEAST NOW!Those little shitheads creeped me out!Ugh!They ruined my first day at work!"I complained to her as I always did.

"I know I get you...they are weird but why did they bring you here to the CEO's office? Don't tell me you messed up on the very first day?"

I was just about to answer when i was cut off by a rather deeper but familiar voice.

"I asked for her.Let her in ."

Minyoung gestured me to get in and I did.

In front of me was the famous CEO who was known for his remarkable success and popularity among the girls but to me he was just an arrogant trashcan.

"So you are the new architect about whom Minyoung had mentioned before?" he asked me in a tone that felt insulting.

"Yes,I'm Kang Y/N," I said at his face.

He chuckled in a weird way and said with a smirk,
"You don't know how to respect people,do you?"

"I do," I said calmly,making sure not to let the burning volcano of anger inside me to erupt.

"THEN WHY DON'T YOU BOW AND LOOK DOWN WHILE TALKING TO YOUR CEO?" he raised his voice suddenly and he screamed those words in the rudest way possible.

I was surprised.

He got up from his chair and stood in front of his table,where I was standing.He came close enough to me so that I could feel his warm breath.

"We are alone in this room.Aren't you scared what I might do to you?" he whispered in my ears with a smirk on his bitchy face.

"I am not scared of an arrogant narcissist like you.All you think about is yourself so I don't really have to worry about myself much," I said confidently.

"You are nothing but a mere employee who works under me.I can do anything to you and you are bound to endure everything to remain here.I will make sure you regret your actions and surrender yourself to me," he said,followed by a laughter that disgusted me.

"Get away you fucking douchebag!" I cursed at him and pushed him off so hard that his head landed on the table behind him.

"And that's when I knew I had FUCKED UP!" I uttered stupidly to myself, half-expecting that scumbag to get up and lecture me about manners again.

Instead surprise slapped me in my face when he gave a teasing laughter after getting his head freshly spanked by the table.

Author's POV

Y/N was sitting on her desk in her office.Since she was the architect,she had her own office.She was thinking how she had got into this mess, moreover on the very first day. She knew she had fucked up real bad. She started thinking how all this began in the first place.

Flashback in the morning~

Y/N entered her new workplace, Royal Realty and as soon as she did,she began searching for her friend,Park Minyoung,who had suggested her for the job of an architect designer in the company.Trying to find her friend in a new place was just foolishness so Y/N thought of calling her instead.

Y/N's POV

''Aish...where do I find her? Hmm......let me give her a call.''
I mumbled to myself. I really didn't want to meet the CEO on the first day since I heard that he's very strict and arrogant.I know that I need to face him sooner or later since I basically have to work here.

Soon I heard people staring at the entrance of the building and girls squealing and whispering to each other. I was very confused so I turned my head behind to see a really handsome guy walking into the building. Everyone immediately started bowing to him, even those squealing fangirls.I was beyond confused now as to why everyone was showing him such respect, just because he's handsome doesn't mean you gotta literally bow to them. Since I didn't know him,I didn't even pay much attention to him.

"Who's that girl?" I heard that man asking someone who looked like his bodyguard or sth, in an arrogant voice,while looking at me."Huh as if the world revolves around him,"I thought to myself.

I saw him walking towards me. It would be a lie if I said I wasn't nervous. From the corner of my eyes,I could see people staring at me with wide eyes.

*Ok this is hella confusing, what the heck*

*snap*
That guy snapped his fingers in-front of my face asking, "Hey I asked you something! What's your name?"

"Why do I have to tell my name to someone I don't know?!" I replied in a bored tone.

The guy turned around and asked one of his bodyguards, "Bring her to my office." And then he left.

Present~

"Oh god!!" I sighed "Why didn't this dumbass brain of mine think that he could be the CEO?! Now I already have a bad impression on my first day!" I thought to myself and slapped my mouth for saying those stupid words back there at his office.
