"Yeah, I'll be there---make sure to entertain them---wag mong pakitang clueless ka there'll flip the deal! keep the meeting alive till I arrive!" With that, she hung up and immediately grab her keys, and purse.
"Wait! where are you going? hindi pa ako tapos dito anong gagawin ko sa mga dadating mo pang gamit?" Ugh, it's been an hour since we started unpacking---well I do all the lifting while she does the unpacking.
"Those idiots! they couldn't even hold a proper meeting!" She grumbled without even sparing a glance at me until she read a text.
"Hey, dadating na yung sinasabi kong tutulong, ask him everything kung anong gagawin sa mga gamit ko and! under! no! circumstances! that you'll lay a finger on my clothes! siya ng bahala sa mga yon." She said as she heads out of the door leaving me with unpacked boxes scattering around from my foyer to her room's door.
"He?... akala ko ba man-hater yon?" I mumble habang iniisip kung sino yung lalaking yon, for more importantly...
"More importantly, she left her clothes to that guys' care." "Hey, dadating na yung sinasabi kong tutulong, ask him everything kung anong gagawin sa mga gamit ko and! under! no! circumstances! that you'll lay a finger on my clothes! siya ng bahala sa mga yon."
"Perhaps? a lover?" Don't tell me, I got in between their love kaya she's making things hard for me? well, that's not impossible considering how she fooled me into getting this contract intact?
"But a lover? no that's way more impossible---" I stopped on thinking when I heard another ring from my door. This gotta be the day where my door has been under this abuse, dang that Alice sure has many packages.
I opened the door and as expected, boxes of Alice-knows-what's-inside just came.
"Just leave them here somewhere the foyer ako ng bahala mag unpack." I said to the delivery guy as I wait on the paper I have to sign.
"Uh..." He uttered after he came in with the boxes, roaming his eyes inside the suite.
"Yes?" I asked extending my hand habang hinihintay pa rin yung pipirmahan kong papel, he looked at me still trying to find words. After a while I looked at him, puzzled on how strange he is.
"Ah! I'm Bryan, nice to meet you! si Alice?" He said grabbing my extended hand for a handshake.
"Ah! so you're the guy Alice mentioned?" I asked, after realizing it hindi siya mukhang delivery guy. He looks straight---a lover?
"Yeah, I'm her cousin. So where's she?" He asked habang nililibot yung tingin sa loob, he must be thinking that Alice's still here. Oh? not a lover, not a gay, but a relative? yeah, why didn't I think of that?
Wait! bakit hindi sinabi ni Alice na relative niya dadating?! Damn it, how am I supposed to act? the house is in a mess!
"Come in, sorry madami dami pa siyang gamit na hindi pa naa-unpack, ah! kaka-alis lang ni Alice may tumawag sa kaniya from work unexpectedly." I said habang tinatabi sa daan yung mga boxes na nakaharang.
"Ah, so I'm assuming you're Alice's husband?" He said carrying the boxes he came with.
Husband, huh? instead of feeling nervous being asked by her relative, I feel...elated?
"Yeah, sorry we didn't mean to hide this from you guys but there are issues we--"
"Oh, don't worry! alam ko si Alice, things must be complicated for you hahaha" Sabay tawa niya, lumapit siya sa mga unpacked boxes at binaba yung mga boxes na dala niya.
