A/N: Pic of Tony (Sean Faris)
Ok, so I'm dedicating a chapter to the first 10 people who give me feedback. I already have three people so there are 7 spots left. (btw, this chapter is dedicated to batmanlover212 bacause she gave me feedback in the comments and chapter one is dedicated to DeannaGockley because she did too).
When I finally wiped my eyes and opened them, I came face to face with a smirking Tony.
"So, you felt so left out that you just had to come and join the party, uninvited?"
I was so outraged my body began to shake and I could feel my face heating up. "I think MOANING MY NAME is enough of an invite, a greatly unappreciated one at that." I got up, ready to leave.
"Don't be an ungrateful whore."
At that name I turned around and got in his face. "What did you call me, douche dick?"
Then his hand was flying across my face like a rocket, surprising me at how much it hurt. "Don't you ever call me names, you worthless piece of shit." He slapped me again. "By the way, I said you're an ungrateful whore."
My body was still shaking, but not just from anger: from sadness, fear, and pain. I left the room solemnly. This was a nightmare.

The next day at school I mostly kept to myself, which was pretty unusual. But when free period came around, the new kid was on my bench again. I didn't have the energy to push him off so I just asked politely.
"Can I please sit here?"
He looked at me quizzically and smiled. "No."
And just like that the tears started falling. Somehow that single word caused me to crumble under all the pressure of everything that had happened.
Jason looked beyond shocked and seemed at a loss for what to do. "Uh...I'm sorry. I didn't realize how important this seat was to you." He quickly scooted over and I sat down in his place.
"It's not the seat." I sniffled.
"Then what is it?"
"A lot of things that I don't want to talk about. I just want to cry because that's all I can do. Is that okay?"
He nodded and sat down beside me, holding me close to him. I didn't even care who saw, which no one did. I just desperately needed a shoulder to cry on.
I knew my problems were only going to get worse because, when you think about it, they didn't start out so bad. They slowly went downhill and they weren't coming back up. My parents wouldn't even be back for another few days, and then after the weekend they came back they would just leave again. It had come to the point where I actually looked into the idea of them having another kid somewhere else across the world and 'business meeting' actually meant 'family meeting.'
"Can you tell me when there's five minutes until the bell rings?" I asked quietly.
"Sure." He answered, biting his lip.
"That's a really bad habit, you know, biting on your lip like that."
"Yeah, it is." He chuckled. "It's a nervous habit."
I didn't know why he was so nervous but I just shrugged it off and fell asleep.

"Hey, wake up." Jason shook me awake.
I sat up and stretched. "Oh my gosh! What time is it?" I started to panic.
"Relax you still have five minutes before the bell rings, just like you asked."
