• ɴᴏɴ-ᴇɴɢʟɪꜱʜ ᴛᴇxᴛ are written like this, you can see its rough translation right above the chapter.
• The long 30 symbols of '~' separate the chapter itself from the translations, magic spell meanings, and the author's notes. It's always aligned at the center like this:
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
• Character's/3rd POV is written like this and aligned at the right. It symbolizes on which point of view are you reading currently. All the paragraphs below it are read in that POV, granted that there's no change into another perspective.
• Animated text as shown below, often indicates some kind of timeskippu, or a fast forward.
• "Text inside double quotation marks" symbolizes that a character speaks audibly, or in some cases soft inaudibles
• Now when you see 'a text in this form, italicized and bound by a single quote mark', you must know what POV you are reading. When it's in 3rd POV, it lets the reader see in the mind of the characters; hence, making the POV omniscient. If you're reading from a character's POV, then it denotes what they're thinking, in addition to what they are saying to themselves.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
• Text located in the middle of 2 sets of 20 symbols of '~' in this form, indicates ᴛʜᴀᴛ voice of the narrator.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
• Words that are INTENSIFIED are often written in caps lock, it might symbolize a word that's being stressed, an intense emotion, or just a character being loud. DRAAAAGGING out a specific letter would look like that THIIIIIIIS, and it's often used in caps lock to show that a character is screaming. Though it may be used like thisssssss, to show a milder type of dragging a specific word/phrase.
• SEEING THIS BOUNDED BY '>' and '<' WOULD MEAN A CHANGE OF LOCATION.
>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
Though, not all changes of location would be written like this, as it may be hinted through the novel itself.
• A [Bold: Unfamiliar Word] written like this would be some kind of magic or a spell. To avoid the author's notes right in the middle of a chapter, I placed its English meaning/translation right below the chapter.
• W-W-Words like that often denote stuttering. Though using... uhhh... uhmm, ellipsis... yeah, ellipsis like this would also mean stuttering. If a l-letter is repeated, it usually means they got embarrassed and stumbled upon their words. But if it's... wri... written like this, it means that they're trailing on their thoughts.
• As you all know, Wattpad and Ao3 authors often use '-' and '~'. When a word is found wit-. a dash at the end, it means they're interrupted, or someone butted in while they're talking. The word might be unfinished or finished, but either way, it means they didn't get to finish what they're saying.
• Meanwhile, using a tilde at the end would mean being flirty~. Or in my case, I would also use it to express a character seeing another as cute/lovable, or on the other hand, making themselves cute. To differentiate it from being flirty, I would add a hollow heart symbol to symbolize a character being precocious~♡
