Chapter 3

* Saturday Morning *
Katie : *Walks Down Stairs* Uhh .. GoodMorning ? Why is everyone crying ? What happened ?
* I started to get very curious . I wanted to know what happened . Was it something about Josh or some of my other friends ? *
Megan : Katie , Can you just please come sit down ?
Katie : Ummm... Sure ...
Megan : I have some bad news to tell you ...
Katie : Oh my goshhh ! What happened ? Did something happen to one of my friends ? Did something happen to Josh ? What is it mother ?
(* saying in a crying faded voice*)
Megan : No Katie ! Your father died !
Katie : (* holding my mouth in a shockingly way*) How ? When ? I mean like how and when did this happen ?
Megan : Last night . I heard you coming upstairs . Then when you went into your room he came back upstairs and grabbed the car keys . We were auguring about him leaving this late at night . So then he took his bare hand and slapped me with it . I cried then he left angry . So then at about 3:00 , I got a call . It was from the police . They reported to me that my husband Jack Anderson has died in a deadly car wreck . They said he'd been drinking and hit an eighteen wheeler .
Katie : That cannot be true !! They're lying !!
* I quickly ran up stairs to my room and grabbed my pillow and cried my eyes out . *
Jackie : Is Katie going to be okay ? * wiping my red eyes *
Megan : I think so . Now go get dressed we are about to go to the grocery store then clothes shopping .
Jackie : Yes ma'am .

* 4:00 p.m. *
* When I woke up , I had 18 missed calls and 30 text messages . I still couldnt believe what happened . So then I got dressed , checked my phone & headed to Josh's house .*
Katie : Knock knock
Josh : ( opens the door ) Hey Katie
Katie : Can I come in ?
Josh : Sure
Katie : Thanks
Josh : Soo .. How have you been and can I get you something ?
Katie : Not so good and im good .
Josh : Whats wrong ?
Katie : My dad died in a car wreck .
Josh : Im so sorry to hear that
Katie : Its ok
Josh : Ok . Lets watch a movie so I can see that pretty little smile .
Katie : ( laughs ) Ok
Josh : There's that smile .

* So Josh and I got snuggled up and watched a movie . Then we feel asleep . When I woke up it said 9:30 pm . So I woke Josh up and told him I have to go . I gave him a kiss and rapidly ran home . When I got home , I quietly entered through my window and quietly went upstairs to my room .
