Growing up, I was always a tomboy. I never fit in with the "girly group". One day back in elementary school, there was a day called "twin day". On twin day, we dressed up like eachother. I fit in group of males that were my age. I was the only girl in the group. On twin day, I dressed up as a guy because all my friends were males.
That was the best day of my life.
That was the day I realized that I was trans. I had never felt so confident. I walked with pride and a bit more self acceptance! At the time my hair was tucked in red anime hat that I got at Hot Topic. I was glad to be myself. I went years without telling anybody I was trans. It was something I kept to myself for such a long time out of fear of judgment. I only recently came out to my parents.I slowly cut my hair. Day by day I cut it a bit more so I could see different hair lengths. It made me very happy. I'm proud to be trans.
I hope my story helps you!
