Actually getting invited to a freaking party

Chapeter 2: Alessandras POV

"Alessandra you're late! Get up get up get up" my mom yelled as she whipped my blanket off.

"Hmmm" I rubbed my eye and glanced at the clock. Oh shit!

I threw myself out of bed and dashed towards the bathroom.

I threw on a turquoise tank top and my basic jeans. I grabbed my backpack and ran downstairs.

"Wait honey breakfast"

I grabbed the butter sandwich my mom had made for me and ran out. I hopped onto my bicycle and cycled like a mad man, only im not a man. I got to school the second the bell rang. I sighed out of relief and calmly parked my bicycle.

I walked into the college building, anxious because I didnt know anyone here. I could feel everyone staring at me, judging. I couldn't give two shits about what they saw me and walked straight to the Deans room.

"Uh hello im Alessandra Thorne. Im uh new"                       

"Ah yes alessandra" he said as he fished through his drawer. He presented a couple of papers to me.

"Here's your timetable and a map to help you navigate though im sure pther students would love to help you"     

I offered him a smile and walked out. Ok lets see hmm I have Calculus. The map was no good.

I couldnt find my calculus room and was worried that I'd be late.

"Can't find your class?"

I whipped around only to see one of the prettiest girls ever. She had strawberry blonde hair that curled up to just beneath her shoulders, blue eyes and flawless skin. She bore pink lipstick which brought out her perfectly shaped lips. She was wearing skinny jeans and a green top.

"Um yeah I was looking for my um calculus class" I said handing her my timetable.

"We're in the same calculus class" she said. "Follow me"

I realised that I didnt know her name.

"By the way im um Alessandra though call me Ale"

"Im liz, short for Elizabeth" she smiled. I gave her a tight smile back.

We entered the room in the middle of a lecture.

"Miss Porter may I know why you have walked in 10 minutes late" he sternly asked.

"I was helping Ale out"

The professor moved his eyes towarda me.

"Ah and whats your name"

"Alessandra"

"Ok well take a seat girls"

We both grabbed a seat at the back of the class. I assembled my notebooks and started writing.

The bell rang after 4th period biology indicating lunch. Liz and I had most of the same classes together and I was grateful to that.

"I want to introduce you to people come" she said grabbing my hand and pulling me down the hall to the cafeteria. She looked around, clearly looking for specific people. She dragged me across the cafeteria to a table with four boys and a girl.

All three of the boys were very muscular and tan. Probably into alot of sports stuff. The girl on the other hand was petite. She had soft features yet a sharp edge to her.

"Ale meet Dianna, Adam, Alex and jake"

I said hi to all of them.

Liz bent down to kiss Adam and then sat down on the table pulling me in to sit next to her.

Like I said before, im a socially awkward person so talking to these people wasn't easy. We engaged in small talk.

"Wheres Cameron at?" Liz asked

"Probably getting laid somewhere." Adam smirked.

Liz shook her head and then turned towards Dianna, who was asking her something

"Are you coming Liz" Dianna asked.

Liz nodded while stuffing her face with spaghetti.

Coming where?

" Ale theres a party on saturday wanna join?" Adam asked.

"Um I dont know ill see but um thanks for inviting"

He smiled and offered me a small nod. God bless him for actualling asking. Ok yes getting invited to place is a big thing because it seldom happened at my old college.

"You better come or else ill drag your skinny ass into my car and take you there" Liz said. I liked her a lot already. She sounded daring and like a person who had fun and enjoyed life. I needed that.

"Or else we'll drag your skinny ass" Dianna corrected. She hadn't spoken much but I liked her.

So yes im aware of the fact that much hasnt happened yet but hey the partys about to happen;) I know you may have some guesses as to what happens at the party but let me tell you one thing. Expect the unexpected. Have fun reading
