"Your vision. Have you figured out how the warfare you saw all find its way inside the castle?"
"No."
"But you saw the fighting in Russia. If they are then this castle may see violence within its walls thats been unprecedented. We must ensure they marry. Then we can take what is rightfully ours. The darkness will rise up again. This will all be ours."

The excitement was nearing its peak as the wedding of Princess Natalia and Prince Steven was nearing.  It was to be the wedding of all weddings and both parties were excited.

Nat had told Steve that she was ready to marry him. He was overjoyed because he's been ready for her since they met when they were just children.
***********
On the morning of the wedding Nat was sitting at her vanity, her long russet tresses being curled by Wanda and her makeup done by Maria. Pepper had her dress in her hands ready for her to step into once the other two were finished.

"How exciting is this?!"

"Yeah. And at least it's your true love and not some random man." Pepper said.

"I love him so much!"
"Natty!" Little Lena came bounding in with her basket of rose and violet petals. She looked like such a pretty doll in her ribboned gown and lace bonnet.

"Yes dear?" Nat reaches for her small sister and put her on her lap as she fixed her golden curls that had escaped her bonnet.

"Will I still be able to live with you and Steve when you marry? I don't want to leave."

Ah. That's what it was all about. The past few days had seen Yelena suddenly looking sad and no one could get out why.

"Of course! Why wouldn't you? We'd never give you up! You know I promised you that I'd always take care of you no matter what happened. You're my sister and I love you, Steve loves you, we all love you Lena." She hugged the child to her chest tightly and kissed her crown of curls.

"Okay." Her smile returned thankfully and she sat on her lap until it was time for Nat to put her dress on.

"You look so pretty Natty!"

Her dress was a lavender shade made of violet and rose petals that with a structured waist. It was gorgeous.

 It was gorgeous

She accepted the amethyst tiara of Sarah's and heard compliments from everyone in the room.

"Ooohhh look at you girl!" Maria shouted.
She blushed as the door opened once again and she saw Clint standing there.

"It's time!" Sarah said and led her towards him.

"You ready? Cuz if not Wanda has our ride out back. We can all totally escape." Clint, always her wingman.

"No I'm fine. Really. Just nervous about seeing him and marrying him but in a good way." She assured her friends who looked way too close to grabbing her and bolting.

"Oh thank god. I did not want to have to explain that." Sarah spoke from behind them.

"Oh right. Forgot she was there." Clint whispered, loudly.

"Let's go!" And they headed towards the hall.

When she stopped at the arches and let her bridesmaids go ahead of her she couldn't see him but she got thumbs up from every girl that went before her.

He actually looks like he's not a hobo for once! Wanda mouthed at her.

She chuckled nervously and smoothed her dress down trying to calm her nerves.

"It's time Nat." He took her hand and together they walked down to the beat of the bridal march. He was so handsome in his tuxedo and she blushed again at the intense stare in his blue eyes when he looked at her.

Steve's POV

When I saw her I couldn't even believe that this beautiful woman was going to be mine. When we made eye contact  she blushed and then I could feel my face getting red.

I took her hand when she made it to the altar and she titled her head up as I removed her veil.

"Hey you." She whispered.

"Hey yourself."

We pretty much ignored priest as he spoke and only remembered what was happening when we heard chuckles from the audience.

I remembered nothing but being able to finally call this woman mine.

Nat's POV

We were so busy staring at each other we missed the priest allowing for our vows.

"We decided that we wanted them to be between the two of us and us only." He nodded understanding and announced us husband and wife.

"You may kiss the bride."

He grabbed me gently by the waist and our lips touched. We've kissed many times before but there was something about this time, it was finally our moment and we were finally officially a married couple.

The crowd was cheering as we pulled back red faced and smiling.

"I love you Nat."
"I love you too."
The reception had started off fast and was keeping until well into the early hours of the morning. We danced so much we had to stop and take breaks. Steve decided we should be leaving early to make it back to our rooms to pack for the honeymoon. He still hasn't told me where we were going but he promised I'd love it.

After we stopped at the hall so everyone could send us off with well wishes we were off.

"I promise Nat, you will love this surprise."

"I better. You've kept me waiting for so long now." I smirked at him giving him a peck on the lips.

"Well I'm sorry. Here, I'll make it up to you." Pulling me into his arms tighter, our lips met once more...

Happiness was still radiating inside the castle and around the region, however deep in the woods the darkness was gearing up to attack.

Two days after the wedding, James and Sam had set out with a company to search and find any remnants of the group spotted in the woods. They found nothing but burnt bodies and dirt drawings on the stone of homes. The pictures had ominous meanings and they believed they foretold of the end.

"Storm, fire, flood and the blackening of the sun. What are these? Predictions?"

"If so they're accurate predictions."

"The stars falling from the sky? That surely can't be good."

"I don't know but it's the only one left."

"We've got to get back to the castle." They started their horses and rode quickly back. There was dire news needed to be told.
                               ***********

It's coming for you. It's coming for your sons and your daughters. You can't run. You can't hide. It's coming for you. The darkness will rise.
