Dear diary,
Today I was just chilling, you know doing my own thing, when I heard my parents down stairs talking about the new neighbors! I hadn't gone out of the house for weeks and didn't even notice that the house in front of me was sold and some new people were moving in right at this instant. My parents were talking about a young couple in their 30's with a boy and a girl. Obviously I tippy toed down stairs to continue listening about the news. My parents said that the girl, Raphaëlle, was 8 years old, so quite young to be my friend! But then I heard something amazing the boy, Samuelle, was 15 years old just one year older than me plus who cared he was a guy and I was girl almost his age! Maybe we could be friends or even best friends who knew? I then walked into the room my parents were in as if I wasn't there the whole time listening to them talk and then said that I had seen a truck and movers outside. They said the same thing that I had heard in secret and bla bla bla. I was so happy to have new neighbors but then quickly got reeled back to the real world and realized that I was in a freaking pandemic and couldn't even go say HI!!!
