Jaune was betrayed by his friends and family after Cardin exposes him.
Then he disappeared
Meanwhile in a different world, a mysterious hero is helping the avengers
Jaune and Amora had finally made it to Jaune's home, a bookstore in the city.
"Here we are, just upstairs here" Jaune said as he unlocked the door and the two walked in the store as Amora looked around the place.
There were shelves and shelves of books, many looked old and from different countries and cultures.
Amora was in awe at the sight of all this, as she had only see mortals as lazy and pathetic.
"I know, people that come in here, have the same reaction to this place" Jaune said as they walked thru the store to the stairs, when all of sudden Amora stopped at a glass case full of books.
"This book, is this what I think it is?" Amora asked with interest, as pointed to one that was black and had a blade on it.
"Yes, this is the Grimoire of the League, said to contain the memoirs of the Head of the Demon, Leader of the League of Assassins" Jaune said as walked to the case and opened it, letting her see it.
"How?" Amora asked with shocked as she held it, The League of Assassins were well know in other realms, such Asgard.
"I was part of research team in a dig-site in Bhutan, We were there looking for evidence of the League and by sheer luck, we found an abandoned worn-down temple and found that this was left there, abandoned by during The war with The Order of St. Dumas." Jaune said
"It's amazing" Amora said
"Only problem, some pages are in a language I can't understand" Jaune said "Old Asgardian text that's been lost apparently"
Amora then had an idea, that would help her and this man.
"Perhaps I could be of assistance" Amora said "I happen to be quite well in deciphering Asgardian text "
Jaune was surprised at this info "Really?"
Amora then nodded "Yes, and perhaps we can come to agreement, I honestly do not have a place to live around, so in exchange for my help with this ,you may help me with my living situation"?
Jaune then nodded his head "Of course , even if you couldn't translate this, I would've have offered you a place here, no problem"
Amora was surprised at this info "Really ?"
"I can't a beautiful angel such as yourself be homeless" Jaune said as he stopped in realization of what he said
I'm so sorry for that, I sometimes don't think before I say things" Jaune said as Amora blushed
it's OK...I kind of like it" Amara said as she started to feel a tired "Is there a bed I could use I am very tired ?"
"Ah yes , you can use guest room for the time " He said as they approach a door and he opened it to reveal a nice living room.
