Upon walking back into the base. Shawn showed his badge and crossed through the lobby to the elevator. Pressing the button he waited for the doors to slide open before walking inside the lift and hitting the button for the hall of bedrooms.

As the doors opened and Shawn stepped out he made his way down the hall until he reached his door. Walking straight in as the door was left wide open. Kurt and Jimmy were moving about assembling boxes and gathering materials.

Kurt flashed a glance up to Shawn and set down the box he was holding. Brushing off his hands he placed his hands on his hips and approached Shawn.

"Well, what's the latest?"

"Gettin' divorced!"

"Wow, that's insane. Least ya didn't have a wedding."

"That's three ways I've disappointed my mother now. Yet nothin' tops bein' born in Brooklyn like I had a fuckin' choice."

"Hey, divorcé of Manhattan. Mind lendin' a hand?"

Shawn rolled his eyes at Jimmy's remark before grabbing a box and assembling it. Setting it down he grabbed his things and tossing them in the boxes.

Once again Shawn was packing up his life and heading out to a newer location. However, this time he was moving out of New York City and the state altogether. He still couldn't believe that he was finally moving out of his home. The one place that he could always call his own and feel like he belonged. Although he felt like he belonged in the city, he didn't have that feeling at the New York CIA base.

He had a better time traveling and visiting the other agencies than he ever did in the base. Kurt was content there and so was Jimmy. But whenever it came to Shawn. He always wound up feeling like he was left out of place. Getting recruited to the Langley base was the unexpected blessing that he needed. There he could really get the chance to start his life over and to become someone. He was to be a real agent and a part of the CIA.

Shawn was going to miss New York and everyone he had grown to love and care about. Yet he knew that this was what he really needed. The opportunity came knocking and Shawn answered right away.

It was going to be hard at first and a big adjustment. But that wasn't anything impossible or anything he couldn't handle. He already had the advantage of meeting everyone at that base beforehand thanks to the investigation mission. He also had the grand tour of the base and even saw how they worked. So there wasn't going to really be intimidation and it would feel like he was already home.
Or "homey".

The boys had spent hours packing everything away and sending it all ahead. After it was all done Shawn went back into his room and fell right into his bed. Heaving out a tired sigh he turned over to lay on his back and stare up at the ceiling. It was his last night in the New York CIA base and the last time he would be known as the "private investigator". Shawn was going to miss the people and of course his home state. But he knew for sure he wasn't going to miss that job one bit.

Hearing a knock at his doorway, Shawn moved to prop himself up by his elbows.

"Hey, don't y'got a whole IT department t'run?"

Kurt lightly shrugged before he entered the room and leaned on the wall beside the door.

"They'll get along fine without me for the day."

Shawn nodded and moved to sit upright. Keeping his focus onto Kurt and regarding him for a few moments. Trying to gauge what he was feeling since something coming off of him felt a little...off.

Lightly tilting his head to the side he finally spoke out to his friend again.

"What's buggin' ya, buddy?"
