Jade's POV
She walked into the store and the door bell rang as Jade walked into the store, her eyes wandered around the store and they landed on a group of boys watching tv at the back
"Welcome" a taller black boy spoke, he was older than jade and he had dreads.
As I walked over to the counter I looked up at him and smiled.
"Hey" I said shortly looking down at the stickers among the counter.
"Looking for anything in particular?" He said shortly glancing around the store at his friends
"Nah I don't have any money, all my stuff is in my bag but I didn't think to bring money anywhere today" I said looking at him again
"Do you skate?" He asked
I nod my head "yeah I've been skating for about 5 years"
"You want a sticker to put on your board?, we got plenty of em" he asked
I sigh "it depends on how big the sticker is, my board is already covered in them" I say as I lift up my board to show him
He laughs a little "yeah you probably right"
"I'm ray" he says as he sticks his hand out waiting for me to answer
"Jade" i said shaking his hand
"How old are you Jade?"
"Oh I'm sixteen, I was eleven when I started skating"
"Oh you're a year younger than fuckshit over there" he said nodding over to the boys
Fuckshit looked over at ray then me
"Wassup baby" he said smirking
I laughed a little bit shaking my head, I look back at ray
"Those your friends?"
"They're my people" he said smiling at me
I don't have any people
"We're about to go skating, you wanna come? Maybe so us some skills you got?" He asked
"Sure I'll go" I said smiling and shrugged
"Alright" he said coming out from behind the counter
"Yo guys" he said gaining the attention of his 'people' they all looked up
"This is Jade she gonna be skating wit' us today" Ray said as he put his hand on my shoulder
"Jade, this is Fuckshit, Fourthgrade and Ruben" Ray said introducing them all to me
"You can call me papi or daddy" fuckshit said making me roll my eyes while smiling
"Quit it N" Ray said while glaring at fuckshit
"I was just saying" fuckshit said while laughing
"Whatever, cmon we gotta go skate" Ray said grabbing his board
They all grabbed their boards and so did I
"Ray can I leave my bag here?"
"Yeah sure" Ray said
"Thanks" I place my bag down in the corner
"We going to the park?" Ruben asked
"Actually, I found somewhere to skate" fuckshit said
"oh god" Jade whispers
"Stop tripping bitch" fuckshit said walking past her
Everyone walked ahead of me but ray walked over to me
"Don't worry he won't pull any shit with me round', trust me" Ray said reassuring me, I followed him towards the car, I sat between Ruben and Fourthgrade, fuckshit was driving which made me a teeny bit nervous
"Let's skate motherfuckers!" Fuckshit yelled before starting to drive
