29. BUTTERFLY

THE STORY BEHIND

" Who the hell do you think you are !! " Junkook yelled in an angered tone , marching inside a room where he saw Taehyung standing with his back faced towards Junkook , silently gazing at the alluring moon in the night sky .

" Are you fucking deaf , can't you here me ? " Junkook growled in anger , walking towards the other male . " Taehyung can't y-" 

" Keep quiet you are scaring her " Junkook was stunned when Taehyung pressed his forefinger against his lips to shut him up , his gaze fixed on the beautiful butterfly in front of him , fluttering its wings in the air . 

For the first time Junkook really noticed the alluring features of the other male , his soft eyes fixed on the butterflies , his moon kissed face glimmering under the moonlight making him look even more enchanting .

 For the first time , Taehyung seemed completely harmless to Junkook as if he was seeing the other in a different light. It astonished him how alluring the other male was looking right now unlike his ruthless and cold demeanor earlier . Like he was seeing a different person in front of him .

" You can leave now ,we will meet tomorrow " Taehyung stated in a soft tone , gently touching the fragile wings of the butterfly before it flew away .

 Taehyung shifted his gaze to Junkook who was glancing at him in an astonished look ,  his expressions  again darkening as he glanced at Junkook.

" What the hell you are doing here Chief Junkook, you could apologize to me tomorrow" Taehyung stated in a sarcastic tone , his lips curling up to form a sly smirk as he glanced at Junkook whose blood boiled in anger.

" What the hell were you talking with that butterfly  and I am not here to apologize " Junkook declared in a stern voice , his expressions filled with anger when Taehyung walked towards him.

" I was spilling some secrets to her , she is my friend . Now tell me what you are doing here in my room . I see Yeonjun has even untied you " Taehyung stated in a cold tone , his gaze fixed on the other's face who glared at him in return .

" What fucking story have you told to your brother . You fucking told him that our Mayor is the fucking head of the illegal business going on in Crystal Snow and he believes it ! Are you fucking sick ! " Junkook yelled in an annoyed tone , getting even more annoyed when the other was completely unfazed by Junkook's outburst of anger.

" You impressed me Junkook, Yeonjun's trust is not easy to gain and secondly , everything that I told Yeonjun is the truth" Taehyung remarked in a bold voice , passing a smirk to the other who stared at him in disbelief.

"  Do you think I am a fool to trust your nonsense ?" Junkook declared in an exasperated tone , clenching his fists tightly to control his anger.

" I don't expect you to trust me , every citizen of Crystal Snow turns a blind eye towards the truth" Junkook was taken aback by Taehyun's remark  , widening his eyes in disbelief as he stared at the other who was no longer looking at him , it gaze fixed  at the night sky.

Junkook observed his face for a moment , studying his features under the moonlight . Junkook didn't wanted to admit but there was sincerity in the other's dark eyes  as it what he told was the truth . None of them spoke for a moment , silence filling up the serene atmosphere .

" Ever heard Kang Taehyun , who formerly worked at Lavender " Junkook woke up from his trail of thoughts when Taehyun asked him a question , his tone calm and deep .

" No ,why ? " Junkook replied in a soft tone , glancing at the other who passed a sad smile . " Doesn't matter " Taehyung replied in a low tone , his expressions filled with sadness as he glanced back at Junkook.
