Nensa opened her groggily, she let out a small groan as she stretched her tired limbs. The alarm next to her bed beeping very loudly in her ears. She slammed her hand on top of the alarm clock in annoyance. She shot up in bed and rubbed her eyes tiredly.
Last nights events played through her head as she sped walk to her mirror, realizing that everything that happened wasn't a dream and that she was now suddenly a kid. She grumpily reached up and opened the door to her room, revealing a small hallway with two other doors.
She silently walked down the hallway into another open room. It was a small living space with, decorated with photos of family moments. She made her way to the stairs and started slowly making her way down, taking the time to look at the different family photos that were hanging on the wall. She made it to the bottom of the stairs and entered into an open floor plan between the main living room and kitchen.
She smelled a delectable aroma coming from the kitchen, walking around the corner, she noticed the lady that helped calm herself down the previous night cooking. The woman took notice of the little girl and gave her a wide smile.
"Nensa! You're awake! That's a surprise, you usually have a fit with getting up!" she continued to stir the mixture of eggs in the bowl she was holding in her hands. She started at the woman in question and realized that they were no longer speaking English, they were speaking Japanese.
She swallowed the lump that was in her throat, she remembered all her training and studying learning different languages. Japanese was one of the first languages she learned outside of English.
"I um...feel different today...mom." Nensa's mother stopped what she was doing and looked at her with concerned look on her face. "Are you alright Nensa? You're acting strange today. You're usually more bubbly. Are you that nervous for your first day of grade school?" she put down the bowl of mixed eggs and crouched down to Nensa's height.
Nensa blinked her eyes a couple of times before putting on a mask. She gave the mother a closed eye smile and scratched the back of her head. "Yeah sorry mommy, I'm just feel really giddy!" The mother crocked up an eyebrow while eyeing down Nensa. Nensa kept up her pose while nervous sweating, hoping that her new mother doesn't see right through the fact that her daughter is not mentally 18.
The older woman sighed while giving her daughter a smile, "Alright sweetie, I believe you, why don't you go upstairs and get ready for your first day okay? Don't go wild." she chuckled out. Nensa could only imagine that before she got all her memories back, she was a wild child.
She slipped on the uniform, a simple white collared shirt, a blue sleeveless blazer, an iconic red tie, and a blue skirt. She slipped on some white thigh highs and slipped on white bunny slippers. She trudged back down the stairs and jumped at over the last step. She let out a small giggle as she did that, having small nostalgic feelings when doing so.
Her mother noticed her daughters presences back in the kitchen as she was placing her breakfast. "Look at you! You're so adorable!" Her mother swooned. The small female's ears twitched in annoyance from the loud squeal her mother was admitting. She pulled her ears down and winced.
Her mother took not of this and titled her head in confusion, "Are you alright deary?" heterochromia eyes met with the mothers yellow eyes, "The loud squeal really hurt my ears." The mother made an 'o' shape as she approached her daughter and crouched down to her level.
She placed her hand behind her daughter's right ear, "That's odd, you never really had a problem with it before, maybe your quirk is going to be something different then mine."
