Harry and Hermione walked arm in arm towards the isolated cemetery, the cold air blowing over their faces. " Harry? " Hermione turned around to see Harry, his back turned as he stared at an ice-covered grave. The bushy-haired girl walked towards him as the brisk air blew strands of her hair into her pale face. Harry stood silent. The grave had two names engraved on it; Lily Potter and James Potter. Hermione looked at him with a wistful look, before kneeling down onto her knees, casting a gorgeous wreath onto the marble grave. Specks of white started to fall from the sky, as Harry sniffled, rubbing his nose as if he was crying. " Merry Christmas, Mione," he whispered, not taking his eyes off the grave, as Hermione looked back up at him, offering a small smile. " Merry Christmas, Harry," she responded, resting her head onto his shoulder and letting out a small sigh. He did the same. It seemed like time had frozen, and they both wished they could stay like this forever. Side by side, not a doubt in the world. Harry looked down at Hermione, getting lost in her warm brown eyes, as she did the same. He snaked his arms around her waist, and pulled her closer, not once breaking eye contact. She stared back, smiling, as his lips met hers. The kiss lasted for a few moments, though for them, it seemed like an eternity. This moment was too precious to let go to waste, and they didn't intend on doing so. The snow started to get heavier, but they didn't care. All that was important was that they had each other, not knowing what was about to come.Authors Note:
