"Good job!" I say while trying to catch my breath from the dance Charli and I did. "Now lets watch it and see of we look stupid" I say and grab my phone from the stand.
"You need to post that! We look awesome!" Charli exclaims and I give her a smile while posting it.
"What should the caption be?" I ask and look over at Charli who was getting a drink
"Maybe something like...." She stops mid sentence to think
"I'll just post two hearts and tag you" I say and post it.
"Yo Grace, Charli" Thomas yells from the kitchen "We are going to dunkin donuts if you want to come" Charli and I yell back saying ok and head off to where Thomas and the rest of our friends are.
There are at least 19 members of the hype house, but only half of them live here full time. Charli and Dixie for example only live here for a short period of time then go back home. I for instance live here full time and as much as it is good, living with a bunch of people who ages between 16 - 21 is very tiring but we all make it work. Thomas is what you would call the leader of the house, he makes the rules and decides who can join the house. He isn't my favourite person but I can deal with him.
"Shotgun" I yell while running to the car and tot he passenger seat before Charli or Chase gets it.
"Cheater" Thomas yells back and I give him the finger and get in the car.
"Give me the aux cord" I insist and grab it from Thomas and begin to blast a random song from my playlist.
Once we get to dunkin, we immediately go to order while Chase and Thomas finds a seat. Charli starts recording us and talking about her day.
"Are you a vlogger?" I question with humour in my voice.
"Maybe.." She says with mischief laced in her voice and continues to record everything around her including me.
"Order for Grace" A young lady yells and I tell Charli she can go sit down while I get the drinks. "One for you, and you, you and me" I say while handing out each coffee.
"Yo Chase you coming to the party the sway boys are having?" Thomas asks
"Wait what party?" I say before I could let Chase say anything "How did I not know about this?" I continue to say annoyed that I was't invited.
"Because you hate the sway boys" Chase pipes in and a sigh in agreement.
"I mean Charli isn't going you can stay with her" Thomas says
"No I will still go. And I don't necessarily hate them, just that whole thing with Bryce made it awkward to be around the." I say and sip my iced coffee. We all begin to chat and make tik tons without creating to much unwanted attention to ourselves. After a while we set off to home and get ready for the party.
After showering and shaving my legs, I get out of the shower and to the sink. I rub the fog off the mirror and check myself out for any pimples or flaws that couldn't be covered using makeup. I look at every wrinkle, every freckle and every unwanted black head on my nose. I continue to stare at myself blankly not liking what I see. I have never hated my body I mean boys love my body so I do. The let down is my lips and my pointy noise. But I embrace them.
Because it was just a house party I didn't go all out for the makeup but choose to go light with something simple. I end of choosing to wear a black tight dress and to dress it down a Denim coat and white Air Force ones. I take pride in my clothes and love to dress up for the boys.
"Ready to go?" Alex asks and grabs a hold of Kouver and lead her outside.
"Yep" I yell back and run to the car with everybody else. I get in the back seat with Tony and Ondreaz, and as much as I love watching them dance in tik Tok they are not that much fun to sit in the middle of them in a hot and crowded car.
"Hey beautiful" Tony says with a smirk on his face and I fake gag and use my hands to push him as hard as I could to the window while he laughs struggling to get free.
"Great, I 'm with a bunch of 3 year olds" Ondreaz says and rubs his face with his hands.
Everyone from the hype house except for Charli and Dixie as they had to fly home was her and edger to party with the party animals themselves. We all walk in the front door to loud banging music and young men and women grinding against themselves to the rhythm of the song.
"Shit" I say and begin to search for where the booze was. After a couple of hours drinking and dancing I hazily try and find the bathroom but instead run into someone who spills there drink all over me.
"WTF" I say angrily and look up to see the one and only Bryce. "Great" I say and clear my throat
"sorry" He says and continues to look at me "Haven't heard from you in a while. Bryce exclaims. "yeah.. um well I had to sort some things out after you know what." I finish my sentence quickly and begin to speed away from him.
I was hoping this wouldn't happen I say to myself and rush into the bathroom. I grab the closet's towel and rub don't the drink that was spilled on me. I then sit down on the edge of the tub and look down, wondering why it was so hard to confront and face Bryce, was it because I felt guilty or because I was still mad at him? Just as I was about to stand up and the door swings open to revel anther way house member Jaden. "oh shit sorry I didn't know anyone was in here" He says
"It's ok I was leaving anyway." I reply and go to Walk out.
"Are you ok?" He questions
"Yeah just tired" I say
"I haven't seen you in a while, ever since that thing with Bryce" He says and I begin to feel my blood boil with anger.
"Fuck" I say and kick my foot against the wall behind me
"Uhh what?'" Jaden says with a confused expression
"Everyone I talk to has an opinion or thinks they know what happened and it annoys me" I reply
"Oh.. sorry I didn't know it was a touchy subject." Jaden says
"I don't even know why I am telling you this, I have only spoken to you like 3 times while With Bryce." I say trying to avoid eye contact with him.
"Nah it's all good. Now If you wouldn't mike I really have to pee" Jaden says and I giggle while walking out of the bathroom and back into the chaotic party.
