Jungkook
After 10 minutes of walking and talking a bit we were there. I could say it was slightly awkward, I didn't know what to talk about and I'd have to talk slow for him.
Being deaf didn't stop him from rambling on and rushing over to pet random dogs. You wouldn't even know he couldn't hear, the only things were his speaking and how he had to see your mouth.
"Jiminie!" Taehyung exclamed as he walked into the coffee shop that was empty at the moment apart from the worker's.
I smiled and waved at the worker's who waved back apart from the one who was the blue haired boys friend.
"Hey Tae! Guess what, I learnt a bit of sign language!" he said before making some hand gestures.
Taehyungs smile immediately dropped for a second, I frowned, not liking to see a slightly hurt expression on his face.
Third person POV
"T-hat means fuck you.." he whispered, a sad smile on his lips as he tried to cover up his disappointment.
"Oh really? Sorry, I didn't know!" Jimin pouted, the other workers snickering a little in the background. "anyway, what do you want to drink?"
"Mm..hot chocolate!" Taehyung giggled sitting at a table and dragging Jungkook and Jimin with him to sit.
"Okay get him a 'hot chocolate'!" Jimin turned to the others, mimicking the blue haired boys voice badly to make the others laugh as he mocked the way he speaks.
Jungkook frowned, understanding what was going on, he wanted to tell Taehyung that his 'friend' wasn't nice but when he turned to him...he looked happy, he wore a smile as he was totally clueless to the intentions of the shorter male.
He sat annoyed as he watched the two talk, he couldn't watch anymore so covered his mouth. "Jimin, just because he can't hear you doesn't mean no one else can.." he growled quietly.
He didn't know why but he felt protective over the smaller, clueless boy. It was properly just because he liked people being treated properly and Taehyung definitely wasn't.
"He looks so happy right now though, you wouldn't want him to be sad would you?"
"Here's your coffee," the worker smirked mischievously as she places the cup in front of the blue haired guy.
"I asked for hot chocolate..?" he said in a hushed tone, his smile seeming fake now as his eyes wavered.
"Oh sorry, I couldn't understand you, your pronunciations are TERRIBLE.." the waitress apologised before walking off and laughing loudly.
Taehyung looked down, thanking her still but tears came to his eyes before he sniffed quietly. He was holding the material of his trousers in his fists, embarrassed of his own voice so stopped speaking.
Jungkook
Seeing Taehyung like this made me furious. I stood up quickly, hitting the table with my fists as I stood.
The blue haired boy jumped at the sudden vibration, looking at me with an confused expression. "What are you doi-" he started.
"I'm taking you home. These people aren't your friends they're talking behind your back Tae..lets go.." I spoke slowly, looking at his big puppy eyes which were completely full of tears now.
"Aish, you messed up our game with deaf boy, are you serious!" Jimin huffed, turning to the staff who laughed.
I couldn't see this, Taehyungs smile was gone because of them, his happy eyes are now crying because of some stupid bullys. "How old are you guys?!" I growled, holding onto Jimins collar of his shirt and pulling him up.
"Jeongguk stop! J-jimins my friend..." He shouted, not looking sure anymore as Jimin had been like this for ages now.
I didn't listen to him, Jimin was like any other high school bully for no reason. "How could you do that to him? He's done nothing!" I spat, glaring down at him as he was a little shorter.
"You can't understand him either right? That's why you're 'ignoring' him!" Jimin laughed. "He's followed me everywhere! He's an embarrassment!"
I punched him as soon as he spoke, Taehyung had obviously read that off Jimins lips as he ran out the shop, crying softly.
"Tae wait!" I stopped, running after him through the cold air. Why was I doing so much for a boy I had 'just met'? I don't know, he's special but no one treats him like that. I want him to know that. ______________________________________
