Chapter Eleven

[Garroth Pov]

Laurance and I was walking to my house and it was an silent walk. I was honestly surprised that Zane let someone touch him without him freaking out. Are they really that close? I don't know much about Travis other than he is friends with Dante. I hope Travis isn't like Dante. I guess I'll have to question people later. I don't want to ruin my weekend with Laurance since he is my... best friend.... I hope I can figure all this out what has been going on with Vylad and now Zane. I just want to keep them safe.

Laurance clears his throat to get my attention. "Garroth, what do you want to do this weekend if your mom will let you go that is." I turn to look at him and shrugged. "I don't know. I guess we can just see what happens." He nods his head. The next thing I know we are at my front door and I unlocked it and we head inside. My mom was in the kitchen baking I'm guessing for Zane and Travis. We head into the kitchen and my mom turns around. "GarGar, your home. Oh, hello Laurance its nice to see you." "Its nice to see you too Mrs. Ro'Meave." I brush my blonde hair back and glance at Laurance then back to my mom. "So, Mom, I was wondering if I can go over to Laurance's house for the weekend since my baby brothers are spending the weekend with their friends."

The timer on the stove went off and she grabbed it and put cupcakes on the counter. I'm guessing that is for Zane and Travis since cupcakes are Zane's favorite. "Yes, you can. Laurance its okay with your family right?" Laurance gives her a smile, "Yes, Garroth is always welcomed at our home, Mrs. Ro'Meave. He is like one of the family." I looked down and slightly blushed at the thought of what he said. I grab Laurance's hand and run upstairs to my room. Laurance sits on my bed and I gather up clothes for the weekend and a spare school uniform for Monday. I find some clothes to change into and head to the bathroom.

[Laurance Pov]

I lay back onto Garroth bed and got onto my phone when he was gathering all his stuff up. I got bored and thought I would help Garroth out a bit with brother problem he seemed worried about.

L- Hey. Dante, what you up too this weekend?

D- Umm, nm I have a friend coming over

L- Who is it anyone I know?

D- Uh, yeah... I guess

L- OH! Who is it?

D- Itz Vylad.... Garroth's younger brother

L- Really I didn't know you guys was friends since he is so young and everything

D- Uh yeah we just click I know he is young but we get along so well.

L- So what you guys gonna do?

D- Why does that matter?

L- JW, Garroth is coming over to my house so I was just wanting to see what you was doing.

D- Yeah I can't spend any time with you guys this weekend sorry we already planned out the whole weekend 😏

L- Okay I see... so what you doing if you don't mind me asking

I turned off my phone and Garroth comes in. Dante is hiding something he usually is straight forward with anything he does. We head out of his house and head towards mine.

We been at my house for a hour now just playing video games. I could tell Garroth wasn't fully here he had to be thinking about his brothers.
