Doctor's P.O.V.

It's been about a week since Corriander showed up on the TARDIS. By now, she has gotten her own room on board and has lived here kind of like it was a flat. She can be helpful too, she seems to know a lot about technology, and she was even able to help me fix the TARDIS once. She can't remember much about where she lived, except that it was in the UK. She remembered her age, sixteen. Maybe if she could remember her family, I could drop her off with them.

"Do you remember your parents?" I asked her.

After a moments hesitation, she replied. "Yeah, my dad's named...uh...David and my mum...my mum's dead." She replied, and her eyes dropping to the floor at the mention of her mother.

"I'm sorry." I said.

"It's fine."

"What does your father do?" I asked.

"He's a doctor." She replied, somehow remembering that more than his name.

"A doctor in what?"

She thought for a moment. "Biotechnology." She said, with a slight smile spreading across her lips. Apparently some happy memories were there.

I suddenly heard a loud beeping noise from the console. A transmission was coming in. I pressed a few buttons and a face appeared on the screen. It belonged to Journey Blue, an old friend of mine. We had stopped a Dalek invasion of Earth at one point.

"Doctor!" She exclaimed, "Long time, no see! And you've regenerated!"

"Yup I've got myself a new bag of bones, except they don't look so new, do they?" I joked. This earned a laugh from both Corriander and Journey.

"Well Doctor, I'm afraid I'm going to need your help."

"What? What's happening?" I asked, a little worried.

"Oh nothing much, just a Dalek ship attacking my space shuttle with me and my brother inside it, that's all." She told me very sarcastically. There was a loud bang in the background and she turned her head and fired her gun a couple of times. "Doctor, please hurry!" She shouted, her tone turning from joking to desperate and grave.

"IRight. Gotcha. I'm on my way." I said, turning off the transmission.

"Where are we going?" Corriander asked me.

"Correction. Where am I going? You're staying here; it's too dangerous." I told her.

She crossed her arms and stood her ground defiantly. "I'm coming to. I want to see what you do."

"No, you're staying here. You can come next time." Ugh, teenagers.

She stared at me, thinking of a witty response. But none came. "Fine." She said.

Corriander's P.O.V.

So basically while my dad was running around on some spaceship having all the fun, I was left in the TARDIS, with nothing to do. To pass the time, I had gotten the medical kit ready for when they came back, in case there were any injuries.

It had only been about five minutes since my father left when he burst through the doors, along with the lady fro the transmission, gasping for breath. The Doctor slammed the doors shut and ran around the console pushing buttons and flying the TARDIS away into space. The lady was standing by the entrance and looking out the windows. I joined her, and we saw her shuttle explode.

After a few moments, she turned and went over by the railing. She sat down and stared at the floor morosely. My father walked over to her and sat next to her.
