Todoroki sat in the tree looking down on civilization. He hated it. The rules were stupid, aside from murders and child molesters but still, what was the point? At least up here in the mountain he could do whatever he wanted...even if it did get lonely at some points...terribly lonely with no one to talk to. Why the hell was he even up here?? No drown those thoughts, he thought to himself, you know why.
He had failed to save someone. A child that was even worse. They had started the fire, and then Todoroki had frozen (not in the literal sense) he could move. It just...happened reminding him of Endeavor. That was why he couldn't save someone who he could reach. Suddenly Todoroki flinched realising what he just thought. Midoriya had told him something like that. He groaned out loud. "stop looking back on the past" He said out loud to himself. "what I need to do is catch something to eat so, stop talking" He muttered. Todoroki had been in the tree for 3 hours straight. He hadn't caught anything, which was really disappointing. He had went into town for nothing.
All he bought was a bow. He already made arrows. He broke every bow he ever made. Every. Single. One. And since he wasted the last of his money on it he would use the bow.
Going into town had been extremely hard including covering his face. The scar on his face was the most distingisible thing about him. So he had to cover it up the entire time...and his hair that was pretty noticeable to. Todoroki glanced out of the tree and saw a squirrel just sitting there. He froze. Then slowly, carefully pulled the arrow on the bow and shot.
"R.I.P squirrel," he muttered. "your sacrifice will be worth it"

Deku had no idea whatsoever what to do. He was bored out of his mind. And was pretty shameful to admit that he had wished something would happen.
A bunch of news companies had wanted him to speak and answer the same question. what did you mean by: 'It could be someone I don't know...or...someone I haven't seen in a long time.' it was so utterly depressing he didn't feel like answering but finally wrote them back a simple letter reading 'I would rather not I hope you understand my reason there's a lot of crime happening and it would be unwise of my to abandoned the city like that' that short. He was so goddamn bored he wished he HAD taken those news replies.
Deku glanced at his hand and flexed it. The glove was getting worn through. He laid there on the edge of the building because for many reasons he couldn't be on the ground. He glanced around blankly. He missed a lot of his friends. Todoroki was missing as well as Kacchan, Uraraka had moved pretty far away, Iida just did to much, Asui-Tsu was all the way out by a lake. He couldn't think of anyone else. He couldn't see All Might again that thought surprised him into thinking of his other teacher, Aizawa, he laughed out loud a the thought of him. Then felt a little ashamed, he hadn't thought of Aizawa in a few years.
Then like a bullet to the chest (which had happened more than once to him) he thought of Shinsou. He sat up. Hitoshi Shinsou. He could not remember his hero name. He knew where he lived, that sounded creepy, but he did.
*****Time Skip Brought to you by Santa The biggest creep ever*****
Slowly, he knocked then took a step back. He heard that Shinsou liked to swing a bat at anyone who knocked on his door.
The door burst open and a bat came directly at Deku's face he caught in his hand with lightning speed. "hey Shinsou" he said. Shinsou peaked out around the bat. "I know that shitty voice! Izuku Midoriya other wise known as Deku" Deku smiled and slowly pushed the bat back. "yeah," he pause then looked at Shinsou "Shitty voice?" Shinsou shrugged. "yeah whatever come on sorry about the bat thing" Shinsou muttered. Deku imitated Shinsou's shrug "yeah whatever," Shinsou glanced at him "I've had worse...like way worse"
He followed Shinsou inside of his crappy hose the smelled like alcohol and cats. "you good?" he asked Shinsou. "why wouldn't I be?" Deku looked at his friend. "Kaminari..."he stopped seeing Shinsou just sit on the floor and curl up. "uh Shinsou" he started "let me be depressed in peace with my cats and vodka," Shinsou looked up "you can take a bottle if you want. I'm drunk right now" Deku sighed and took a bottle and sat down next to him.
"I probably shouldn't be drinking" he said as he popped the cap. "yet here we are, pass me some of that"
They sat in the cat fur filled air and drank the whole bottle within a few minutes then just lied there drunk as shit wondering what went wrong.
