Dan and Phil arrived at the hotel in NYC. They decided to spend New Years eve alone and they would make collabs and stuff tomorrow.
They unpacked their suitcases and went for lunch. After lunch, back at their room, there wasn't really anything to do. They both just sat on their phones.
"Hey, Phil. What are we doing tonight?", Dan asked.
"I really want to see the ball drop at the stroke of midnight babe", Phil said.
"Wow, I dont know why but the way he just said that was so hot", Dan thought as he smiled at Phil.
"Of course we will", Dan then said with a wink.
Dan and Phil cuddled up next to each other and took a nap.
Phil awoke first. The time was 10:30pm.
"Dan! We need to go now!,"Phil said as he grabbed his jacket and a small snack for both of them.
Dan hurriedly woke and got ready. He ate his snack as he grabbed his jacket and checked his hair.
They both rushed out of the door to time square.
They stood near so many people but it felt like it was just them.
"In this many people all I see is you", Dan said as he faced Phil.
Phil gave Dan a soft kiss that ended abruptly because people began counting down to midnight.
"10, 9, 8, 7, 6 , 5 , 4, 3, 2 , 1", everyone chanted.
As the ball dropped, Dan grabbed Phils arms and pulled him in for a passionate kiss. They separated to take a breath. Dan rested his forehead against Phil's.
"Can this be the year we tell them?", Phil quietly asked.
"I think it will be", Dan said.
