--(Chapter 3:"Second Encounter")--

"Foolish Notch... He thought it was that easy to get rid of me... well I'll deal with him, then I'll punish Leo for stealing my precious belongings..."

When I got home, I spotted my mother waiting for me outside our yard... I might be in trouble *sigh*

"I thought you'll be home in 10:30?!" Scolded my mother with a frown on her face

"Yeah there was a traff-" I replied while putting on my backpack

"Tell the truth son..." she said while interupting my words

I sighed and then said "You won't believe me... there was a landslide then I got thrown outside the window and..."

"Don't continue, atleast you're safe" she added while opening the door...

Later...

I washed my face and changed my clothes and went to sleep...

Tommorow...

*Ringing of alarm clock*

I got up and took a shower, packed my things including the gauntlet then ate breakfast. Since there's no school bus (It's at the repairman) Mom dropped me off to school...

When I entered our classroom all of my classmates thanked me.

"Wow, I feel like a superhero now" I said to myself

Later...

The bell rang,  that means it's time for lunch. I brought my food and sat at the table... surprisingly, half of the class wanted to sit with me, eat lunch together and talked about my gauntlet. But I seen my friends over at the back eating lunch on the floor so I invited them over to eat lunch.

"Thanks bro, my butt was getting cold back there" said BadboyUniverse

"So Leo, how does it feel being the 2nd popular guy in the class?" Added mars

When I heard "The 2nd popular guy" I became speechless then I replied "2nd popular guy?! That's cool but, I don't care anything about that mess"

We finished our food then went back to class,

Hours passed it was time to head home...

I called mom to pick me up (Because the bus is still in repair) instead of hearing my mother's voice this came up

"Sorry, it seems that this contact is either busy or cannot be reached... please leave a message after the beep..."

*Beep*

A voicemail?!.  My mom is always glued to her phone, strange...

I waited for her to come but she didn't. So I came to my nearby friend and borrowed his bike, then I rode off

32 minutes later...

When I got home I opened the door and I noticed that my mom wasn't around and also was the ingots that I've found. Until, I spotted a note on the fridge...

"If you want to see your precious mother again, let's make a trade... I give you your mother and you give me the gauntlet"

"Now I know who's after me..." I said to myself

I looked down the floor and I've found footprints that lead to our backyard, I followed the footprints then it led me to a cave, without hesitation I entered the dark cave and found my mom strapped in iron chains

"Leo! What are you doing here?! Get out now my son!" Said my mother

"Not without you mom!" I replied while putting on my gauntlet

"How sweet, but also it's so clichē. Now return me the gauntlet" the mysterious person said while walking out of the shadows

"Return it to you? You're  not even the guy who appeared in my hallucinations!" I replied while using the gauntlet's power to lift him up in the air

"Woah there! Provoke me again, I kill your mother"

He added while pointing his sword at her throat

"Get that away from her!" I shouted

I froze him in the air and summoned 2 boulders then crushed him in the middle

"You leave me no choice..." He said while running towards mom

"Leo! Save me! Don't let him kill me" Shouted my mom in fear

"Don't worry mom! I won't" I replied

I ran and catched up to this eyeless freak, transported all my powers to my gauntlet then I punched him with it. I sent him flying across the room then he crashed on the wall...

"See mom? I won't let that happen" I said while cutting the chains

She broke free then this happened...

He got up then teleported at my back without me knowing then stabbed my left eye

I screamed in pain then I told my mother to hide.

"Dumb human, this wouldn't have happened if you gave me the gauntlet. Now you pay the price" He said

"Sorry, I don't trust strangers..." I added while escaping his grip

Then suddenly, the gauntlet transformed into a sword then I sliced his arm off

He screams then he spawns a huge gaping hole on the ground with lava at the bottom

"First, you stole my ingots. Second, you sliced my arm off... what's next?!" He shouted at my face

"Your life" I answered

I used the advatage of his hole then grabbed him and jumped to the hole...

While we are falling I let go of my grip, punched him in the face then tried to land on a platform. It broke my left arm gave me 2 hearts but on the good side I saved my mom

"Hehe, worth it.." I said then I passed out...
