Ramion sat at his shifty, wooden desk, chewing on a piece of rainbow cloud gum. The class was taking a test.

He sighed and filled in the last question on the page.

"Done!" he shouted, waving his paper in the air.

"Shh!" the teacher said, snatching the quiz, "Read a book."

Grubbling, Ramion pulled out a dusty old novel. He flipped to the first page and began to read.

He was interrupted, for the door to the classroom had swung open, revealing a pink haired fairy.

"Hi!" she squeaked, "Sorry to intrude. But school is canceled, you need-"

The class shrieked with delight, books went flying through the air and some students even drumbed their feet.

"EXCUSE ME! THE FAIRY WAS SPEAKING!" the teacher yelled.

The class quieted down and the fairy cleared her throat.

"Ahm, thank you miss. As I was saying you are all supposed to be out in the courtyard in the next 10 minutes," the fairy finished, fluttering away.

The door to the class creaked as the teacher closed it.

"Pack your bags," she instructed.

The class cleaned up their mess and began to gather their things.

Ramion smiled as he put away his books and homework. School was canceled! He grabbed his bag and packed it neatly.

Soon, the class was in a straight line and the teacher was doing a headcount.

"Alright, let's go!" she exclaimed.

The class followed the teacher through the maze of halls, and out into the courtyard, of which the rest of the school was waiting.

The teacher's face went pink with embarrassment.

Serves her right! Ramion thought, as he shuffled closer to a large podiam.

The principal stepped onto it, and grasped the edges.

"Hello Fairyland elementary school! Today is our first day of school, but sadly it has to end early. School is cancelled until further notice. So please go home," the principal explained, "and stay home."

The principal hopped down onto the green coloured cloud grass, and disappeared through the doors of the school.

Many children whooped with excitement, and left the field, boarding the blimps and heading home.

Ramion didn't know what to do, since his mother was supposed to pick up him and Matoa that day. He watched as Matoa settled down at the foot of a golden tree and got a head start on her homework.

He decided to join her.

As they waited, they watched the teachers run in and out of the school building. One stopped in front of the twins.

"Hey, why are you two still here?" he asked, moving closer.

"Our mom hasn't picked us up yet," Ramion answered.

"Oh, ok." the teacher replied.

The man left, leaving the twins to do their homework.

After another 10 minutes of long waiting their mother arrived. Her purple hot air balloon floated onto the clouds in front of the twins. She immediately hopped out and rushed over.

"Oh, sweeties your alright!" she sighed, hugging the twins.

Jamey then ushered them into the balloon's basket.
