The following day
At 5:00 am
Craxis: Amelia dear, wake up!
Amelia (mumbles) Mom I don't wanna go to school today
Craxis:Don't be childish,child. Wake up
Amelia:Oh it's you grandma. Good morning(checks her clock)Grandma why so early?
Craxis:Just follow me.
(Craxis takes her to the town clinic)
Amelia:(Holds herself)So cold,Brrrr!!!
Craxis:I can fix that
(Craxis touches Amelia's forehead, a sensation flows down her body[Amelia] making her feel warm)
Amelia:How did you......
Craxis:(interrupts) do that? It comes with healing powers come, my child, I will teach you how to heal today. I wanted to teach you how to heal basic injuries like cuts but I'll add inner healing to today's list.
Amelia:Alright, Grandma.
In the clinic waiting room
Craxis:The principal you need to know about healing is that you have to feel the person's pain and imagine healing wisps moving to the person's source of pain. That's all.
Amelia:That's all.
Craxis:No, that's not all, that's the basic foundation you need to know. Now wait here whilst I check the patient inside (Exit)
(Small child's voice): Aunt Amelia.
Amelia:Dalton, come over here, how are you doing?
Dalton:I'm fine, meet my friend, Julia.
Amelia:Julia! What a beautiful name.
Julia:(her voice quivering)Thank you
Dalton:She has a little cold.
Amelia:I'm so sorry, come here,
(Julia comes close to Amelia and holds her hand. Amelia remembers what her grandmother told her and then she tries it and instantly Julia feels better)
Julia: I feel much better, how did you do it?
Dalton:Julia,what do you mean?
Julia:She has healed me.
Dalton:Seriously?
Julia:Yes
Dalton:Amelia can you help me, I've got a cut on my left leg.
Amelia:Let me see it
(Amelia holds his leg and in a few seconds the cut disappeared. As the other patients see this, they all gather around her and before anyone can say "snap", she started healing them. Craxis enters and sees patients around Amelia and guesses what's happening)
Craxis:(thinking) I knew she had it in her but she has manifested it faster than I imagined.
3 hours later
(Amelia has mastered the art of healing. She could now heal anything from a cold to a fever to a cut to a fracture to broken bones to concussions even to amputated parts of the body)
Craxis: Well my dear you learn pretty fast, I expected maybe like one week to master healing but here we are, 4 hours and you are healing concussions.
Amelia:Guess I have it in me.
Craxis:Yes child, you can now go and rest.
Amelia: Thanks Grandma
(Amelia retires to bed exhausted)
12:03pm
Vanessa: Amelia, come and have an early lunch. I cooked your favorite lasagna and spaghetti.
Amelia: Thanks, mom
(Enter Seth)
Seth:Amelia, your grandma told me about your progress and I must say I'm impressed.
Amelia: Thanks dad
Seth: At the rate you're learning at, I think by next week you'll be ready, tomorrow meet me in the training room by 11am, we will finish up our flight lessons and begin hydrokinesis.
Amelia: OK I will be there.
Seth: Retire to bed early, so you can wake up early and have breakfast before our lessons.
Amelia: Alright Dad
(Exit Seth)
(Amelia finishes eating and flies to the roof of the house)
Amelia:Ah, cool fresh air(She sees an injured bird)Are you alright? I wonder if i can heal animals. Let me try.(Amelia heals the bird and it becomes her friend and refuses to go even though she released it to fly)

Amelia: Alright, you can come with me
Bird: Tweet, tweet
Amelia:I will call you Ryan
Ryan:I like the name
Amelia:(gasp)Am I dreaming?
Ryan: No, you aren't,I am a gift sent to you by the gods to run errands and listen to instructions.
Amelia: OK, I am going to retire to bed now,it's 7pm, let's go.
Ryan:Alright
(Amelia makes space on her bookshelf, close to her bed, for Ryan)
Ryan: Thanks
Amelia:You are welcome, goodnight
Ryan: Goodnight.
