Chapter Seven - Flowers

The sun was about to set as beautiful warm hues of colors were shown in the evening sky.

On her way home, Ri passed tall trees and long grass. It was almost dusk fall and she feared the wild animals that leaked in the woods.

Half an hour later she reached the house only to be met with the grandmother's anxious expression.

"Ri darling, where were you?" Asked the worried grandmother.

Ri thought for a while, what was she going to say? What was she supposed to say 'hmmm, I was with the king and him...' no how could she say the king forcefully touched her. Left his marks on her soft skin.

Her savior would be terribly upset. Grandmother feared the king with a passion. So what should she say to avoid getting into trouble?

"Actually, at the dam, I saw a beautiful butterfly and I followed it to the forest but I did not expect to get lost." Said Ri convincing enough to make grandmother believe her.

"I see dear. But what happened to your sleeve, it got torn." Said her savior as she stood in front of Ri.

She studied Ri's collar and then noticed. She moved Ri's hair to the side so she could inspect those marks.

"And what happened to your neck, sweetheart?" This time Ri had a problem.

"Ahhh, my sleeve got torn because It got caught in a branch as I tried to catch the butterfly but then I fell and those marks were the impact." Said Ri.

"Ohhh dear, are you okay?" Said the grandmother concerned.

"Yes, I am fine!" Said Ri shocked that she believed her.

Although her savior believed her. Ri felt terrible that she lied to the woman that took her in.

Jaehyun's pov

It has been a week since the parade and I still can not get her out of my head.

I remember how her lovely scent of flowery fragrance hit my nose when our bodies pressed against each other. How sweet her skin tasted! How natural it left with my hands around her waist! How good it felt when my lips touched her soft skin! How every kiss made her skin hotter!

Before I realized it I was totally whipped for her. I want to make her all mine. I want to see her ravishing body underneath mine. I want to see the look in her eyes when I conquer her body. I want to devote my love and life solely to her.

Dressing into the common robes of my people. I hid my face with a thin cloth so no one may recognize me. I sneaked off secretly trying not to draw unwanted attention.

I successfully made my way out of my palace just so I could catch a glimpse of Ri. There is a flower meadow that she is quite fond of. She visits there every day so if I hurry I could see her even if it is for a minute or second. I would be happy just by seeing a smile on her face.

I ran as fast as my legs could take me. Once I reached the flowery paradise. My eyes widened at the sight in front of me.

There sat Ri with her small back against the old large tree. A smile graced her lips as she held beautiful flowers bringing them to her nose to smell their fragrance.

The sun was just about to set as a ray of sunshine kissed her face. I loved the way her eyes gleamed with happiness as she smelled the pretty flowers.

She stood up walking towards the red roses and as she bent down, the top part of the dress slowly unwrapped revealing her cleavage.

She tried to redo the robe but lost her balance as she tripped on a rock. Ri sat on the ground as tears gushed down her face. She must be in pain.

Looking at the tears rolling down her cheeks, my heart ached.

I rushed towards Ri and I tied a piece of cloth on her eyes so she may not see me. Why? Because every time she meets my gaze, I can also see fear in those orbs of hers.

She fears me.

Ri's pov

I held my leg that was aching as I felt a piece of cloth covering my eyes. I was startled! Who would ever do this?

My vision was stained black greeting the darkness. I panicked as I felt cold fingers trailing down my cheekbone.

"No, please do not touch!" I yelled covering my chest with my arms.

Unexpectedly the strange readjusted the top part of my dress covering my cleavage.

Suddenly large hands held my waist bringing me to my feet only to carry me bridal style. My small hands gripped on the stranger's collar at the thought of falling.

"Hey, who are you? Put me down this instant!" I shouted out.

The man removed his arms almost dropping me as I instinctively wrapped my hands around his neck.

"I am no one important!" Said the man as he whispered in my ear sending tingles sensations down my spine.

"Then what are you doing? Put me down!" I said thinking that his voice sounds familiar but from where?

"No, if you keep shouting in my ear I am going to drop you on the dirty floor. How are you going to get home? You will be stuck here all alone! Do you want that?" He asked with a monotone voice if only I could see his face.

I shook my head indicating that I did not want to be left alone with the hungry wild animals.

As he carried on waking I swear I heard him mouth the word 'obedient'.

However, he stopped in his tracks when the voice if a familiar man hit my ears...
