"Thanks again Precious" I said drinking my Carmel frappe
"I needed this fresh air"
"Girl no problem" Precious waved her hand "I been meaning to check this place out anyway"
"It's nice" I glanced around the café
"Yea.....What you doing for your birthday" she asked
"I don't really know usually Re always surprise me with something but....."
I haven't talked to Re Or Jay since the party. Re' has been ignoring my text and my calls. And Jay claims he's out of town and he will talk to me when he gets back. Looks like I'll be spending my birthday alone
"She's been busy I guess" I said in a low voice You could tell that it bothered me
"We'll look if you don't have any plans tomorrow text me and you can hang wit me-"
She paused
"Actually I have practice tomorrow but if it's not to late we can still do something"
For the 4 days I've known Precious she show me that she acts just like her name "Precious". She helps out in the community, volunteers at pet shops, the all-star player of her track team, CEO of her very own clothing line, and always make time to hang out with me. She makes me feel comfortable like I can tell her anything. If I didn't know any better I would mistake her as my best friend.
"What about your boyfriend?" "Did he plan anything"
"He's out of town" I sighed
"Check his Instagram" she pointed out
"Why" I chuckled
"Because if that nigga really out of town then I'm pretty sure he would let insta know"
I pulled out my phone and opened Instagram, going to jays page I clicked his story
"See he's in Texas as we speak" I showed her my phone
