August pov

As I woke up I heard a little whimper coming from baby girls room as saw that she threw her hat on the floor as I picked it up and put it in her hands she started laughing.

"Why you throw your hat on the ground fo ga" I said while she still laughing at me. "Well I guess I'm just going to be leaving then" I said knowing what was going to happen. She started to kick her feet and start crying, "Aww baby girl I wasn't going to leave you for real okay you don't have to cry no more okay". She then just look at me and tried speaking again. "eyyyeeee" She said which made me laugh cause she poked herself in the eye trying to point at it but she shuck it off, and started laughing. "Did you just say your first word love" then I got cut off by my phone ringing, It was Chris calling (Chris brown).

Phone convo

Me: Hello (Strong New Orleans accent)

C: aye bring baby girl over we having a party for her arrival.

M: Chris who idea was that.

C: your mama

M: Alright then let me and her get ready we be then in 20.

C: Did you just make a rhyme nigga.

M: Yeah I been rhyming to baby girl all morning.

C: Well don't be late man.

M: ight nigga I'll be there.

Narrator pov

August just got off the phone with Chris and is trying to find a matching outfit for him, Kaí.

Kaí pov

As I watched my dad pick out my clothes I noticed this held against his head he had a phone I think thats what they called it. But this is my first pov so i really dont know what to talk about but i know that im adopted. Cause i never noticed him before, but my senses tell me that he is very nice, Yet lonely but he seems really cool.

August Pov

I finally found something for me and baby girl to wear, it was awesome it was a crooks bucket hat and a dark green shirt, but her pants were lime green joggers with black stars, this will be a perfect time to show the rest of my family will love her.

So i got kai her bath and washed her head and got her out, she took a 15 min bath, and 5 min hygiene. I didn't have to do much because she was only a couple months and didn't have as much as the other girls, but let me get myself. So I took a 20 Minute shower, and did my hygiene for about 7 minutes then i put my clothes on and went to check on Kai, she was in her room watching spongebob trying to stand in her crib, and then she started to cry I guessing since she woke up she didn't eat. So I went downstairs and I got her bottle and gave her the formula, and the baby cereal I call it that cause i dont know what it is called but ill figure it out sometime. I went upstairs and I gave her the bottle and she took it to the head like a G, literally she was really hungry, but as I let her watch TV a little longer it was time to go, So I got my phone to a pic of me and baby girl and said.

As i posted it I got fast like and comments just like that, so after that i took baby girl out of her crib, and out her in the backseat of my range, and drove off. As I was driving I saw baby girl dancing to the music I had playing it was ( HipHop by August alsina) as i stopped at the stop light she started dancing again, and she started laughing and actin a fool.

At the cook out

Everyone was very excited to see kai they weren't gonna do what they did last time trying to steal her from me.

August walked in the backyard and all eyes were on him and Kai, they were both matching and kai had her hair in a curly afro.

''Omg August, she is so cute''. Mama shelia said. ''Thanks mama i really needed that'' i said holding kai closer to me.
