Good To Be Back

-Mitch-

"The twins are beautiful Mitchy. I can't wait for you to see them."

"I was out for a while huh?"

"Yeah. 11 months, 17 days, and 8 hours. I only kept track." Scott giggled as he unlocked the door.

"I'm nervous. I haven't seen Marely in almost a year." A tear slid down my cheek as we walked in the apartment. Kirstie was here with the kids. She watched them a lot in the past week as I adjusted.

"Kirstie. We're home." Scott called out. Kirstie got off the couch and made her way to us.

"Hi Mitchy. Babies are doing great and they're so beautiful. Call me if you guys need anything." She gave each of us a quick hug before leaving.

"Come on Mitch. Marley and the twins are waiting." He grabbed my hand and pulled me towards the couch. I sat down and folded my arms across my chest as Scott went to Marley's room.

Minutes later, a little girl came running towards me, "Marley." I whispered. She jumped on me and gave me a big hug. I felt tears coming.

"I missed you so much daddy." I kissed her cheek and she let go as Scott came out with two babies in his arms.

"Scott." He came over and sat down next to me.

"Here's Ashton first." He handed me the cutest baby boy I've ever seen.

"He's amazing." I kissed his forehead and noticed he was holding my thumb in his tiny hand.

"Here's Jocelyn." He handed me Jocelyn and she held onto my thumb as I held her.

"My babies." Marley came on the couch and sat next to me. Tears were falling down my face as I was finally back with my family again. Being gone for almost a year was insane and I have no idea what happened or where I was. But I never want anything like that to happen to me ever again.

A/N: Happy new year! I loved 2014 & I hope 2015 will be even better! I'm going to see Pentatonix in March, Pentatonix is gonna win a Grammy! I mean what could be better?!?!
